I am not satisfied, and the college needs to improve extracurricular activities.

Placements: Our college does not provide any vocational-technical courses, so there are no placements. There is Vanijya Mahavidyalaya on the same campus, which provides only vocational courses. Campus placements are poor in this institute. Mainly, students get placements in the fifth or last semester.

Infrastructure: There are 3 hostels in our college. The library is big and has ancient books, new books, magazines and newspapers. Our college is also known for its cleanliness and greenery, and it has many trees. There is a big playground. Our college is known for its beauty because it is on the bank of the river Ganga.

Faculty: The faculty members were of different ages, so they understand the current market demand. They have good contact with alumni students also. All the teachers for our batch are very helpful and have detailed knowledge of the subjects. They guide us in all phases of life.

Other: The syllabus needs to be updated with more emphasis on India literary history. Our college conducts 4-6 activities every year.

A review of Directorate of Distance Education, Patna University.

Placements: There is no placement facility in DDE. It is the cheapest college. Examinations are held on time every year. Performance of the college students is average always. There are no placements for our batch and our senior batches. 0% of the students were placed from this college.

Infrastructure: It's a distant course, so there is no facility of Wi-Fi, classrooms, etc. in this college, but library facility is available. The library is well-equipped with books. There is no canteen facility in DDE, and there are no hostel rooms. A renovation is required for the betterment of college. The college needs to provide at least canteen facility so that whenever we go outside, we can have something in the cafeteria.

Faculty: It's a distance course, so students need to study on their own. Books are provided by the college, and the prices of the books are very cheap. Industrial exposure is provided, and the course curriculum was helpful but not always. More educated teachers are required.

Other: No extra co-curriculum activities are held in DDE, and DDE is going to be closed very shortly. So no admissions of students will be taken from now on.

It is a best platform to complete you desire of education.

Placements: I have never attempted the placements, so I can't say anything about it. But the campus placement of Patna University is very good. Many companies come here and give the opportunity to the students to get their best out of them. Campus placements act as a motivation to the other students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Being a distance education provider, all the facilities are available in the college, that are supposed to be in a regular course college. No one can feel the difference between the regular and distance college.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helping. There is a student teacher relationship built where every student can communicate and get their issues resolved. The distance education serves as a platform for us to complete our degree without attending regular college. I am proud to be a part of this college.

Other: The faculty are always a major part of the Patna University. It provides education to many students who are not able to have their regular courses as well as to those students who don't get good marks to go for the top colleges because of the high cut-offs. In a nutshell, I would like to say that it saves the dropping year of the students.

Other: College campus is good. It always organize class room facility. They help us at every problem. But college don't have co-ed facility. That’s why, student doesn't interact with girl, which is not quite helpful to those student who is quite slow with talking girls.
