Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) - Batch of 2025

Disappointed by my decision because of the improper faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: I completed my PGDCA from DBRAU in 2025. I am running my own computer education centre where I am offering various short-term computer courses like DCA, CCC, Photoshop, etc. 50 to 55 percent of my batchmates are placed. The average package is around 2.2 LPA to 3.9 LPA. HCL, FitZee, Accenture, and others are recruiting. There are a few internship opportunities. Team leader and cybersecurity agent are the top roles these companies are offering.
Infrastructure: I would say that there are average facilities available on the campus. There is always a connectivity issue. The building is also not in good shape. The canteen also has its problems. No support for sports. Medical facilities are also in bad shape. There is an issue with clean running water.
Faculty: There is always a shortage of good teachers. Most of the faculty positions are vacant. I would say the available teaching staff is supportive. The course curriculum is decent because the university has tie-ups with various institutions and online platforms. You have to get 40 percent passing marks with 70 percent attendance.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2026

My honest review of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra - Khandari Campus.
Placements: The college does not provide placements to any students. Agra College is a government college, so the fee structure is very low. No companies came to campus. Placements in our college are good. Our college should focus on getting more recruitment for our students. Job opportunities are more after completing MCA. A few companies that recruit students are TCS, Wipro, Tekriya, Bharti Infratel, etc. Industrial training is also provided by our college.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are average. The mess food is not good. Washrooms are not neat and clean. There is whole corruption, and one can easily see that the food given in the mess is not of good quality.
Faculty: Faculty members at the college are not very good and are average. Teachers of the college do not usually come into the classroom while students are waiting for their teachers. The exam structure is good. It is chill, and cheating is definitely not allowed for students. The pattern of the question paper is very strict. According to the syllabus, the MCA course curriculum is well-prepared, approved, and relevant. It is of a high standard. The MCA course makes us masters in computer applications. The course has practicals, and that is more important. We have very good lab practical classes, which are important for us. The structure of the course is not up to date. Faculty members are good, and they help us understand concepts. They are well-educated. They have a doctorate degree in their field. It is really important to manage time and study hours to excel.

Please don't take admission in this college.
Placements: There was no concept of campus placement in this college. In the 2020-24 batch, there were only 2-3 students placed at Rs. 14,000 monthly pay, which was too low. Dissatisfied with placement, faculty members, campus life, and infrastructure. Why this college exists, I don't know the reason. Please don't take admission in this college. The only point that I like about this college is that you can do B.Tech without going to college. You have to give only a semester exam.
Infrastructure: There is a building without a concrete roof, which is covered with a green plastic sheet.
Faculty: Faculty members are not that great. They don't even know how to teach. Infact, they actually don't know the concept. They are literally taking a free salary for teaching.
Other: What is fest? Faculty members don't even know it.

The overall experience is very good. Gaining good quality knowledge and experience.
Placements: There are 65 percent of students placed from our course. The average package is 3 LPA- 4 LPA. The lowest is nothing in our college, but the highest package is 12 LPA. There is a local company, and some MNCs come to this college. Internships are not available in college. Some students are off-campus interns. Roles offered are Java developer, web developer, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a very friendly environment in our college, but the college canteen and park are some issues, our classroom and labs are very comfortable, so we do not have any issues with them. It is provided only for girls, not for boys, so I have no idea about the hostel facility. But I know about the hostel, some information is that the environment is picturesque.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and calm in our department. They do everything to ensure students will study. They provide a full knowledge era in class. My course is BCA, so I would know only about computers. There are no difficulties in our college exam because we have many choices in our exam papers.
Other: I chose my course because of my interest in computers, so I know about it in detail. It is fully made in English, not Hindi included. Add a finance class to this course. There are many activities performed in some fests or respected days.

I am satisfied with the college because of the good learning skills and helpful faculty members.
Placements: Placements are average. This college gives average placement. Few companies come and give low salary packages, but not according to the skills of students. The college does not provide internships.
Infrastructure: It has good infrastructure and good facilities. It consists of Wi-Fi labs with 2 labs having the maximum number of computers. It has a good mess (canteen). Air-conditioned classrooms are available in this college. It is an above-average college and good for skills development.
Faculty: This college has helpful teachers. They provide all the knowledge to students. This course is properly computer-based, so teachers provide good lab assessments to students and give quality education. Semester exams are very easy to pass, and out of 10 questions, we have to attempt only 5 questions.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in computer science and web development.
