VBSPU Jaunpur Course Admission 2025: Application Process, Eligibility, Courses & Fee

Purvanchal University offers more than 25 courses at UG, PG, and diploma levels in full-time mode. These programmes are offered under six faculty, admission to some of the courses is based on the university-conducted entrance exam, namely the Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test, admission to remaining courses are conducted through national-level entrance exams, including JEE Main, UPCET, etc. The university follows a common application process for all the courses. Interested and eligible candidates are required to register on the official website of VBSPU in online mode to seek admission. Reservation of seats is as per the UP State Government/ University norms. A relaxation of 5% aggregate in the qualifying degree exam is applicable for SC/ST candidates across all the courses. The University also reserves the right to admit University Employee wards as per VBSPU rules.

VBSPU admissions to courses given at VBSPU is held through online mode. The PUCAT registration fee for unreserved/ OBC students is INR 500, whereas SC/ ST students need to pay an application fee of INR 250. The step-wise Purvanchal University application process is mentioned below:

1.1 - Visit the official website of VBSPU (www.vbspu.ac.in). On its homepage, click on the ‘Admissions’ tab. Further, click on ‘Apply Online for VBSPU Admission’

1.2 - Click on ‘UG/ PG Registration Link’. The PUCAT registration page opens up. In the first step, enter the details, including the applicant’s name, course, guardian details, email ID, mobile number, date of birth, etc.

1.3 - In the second step, complete the remaining application form, by addressing other personal details. Further, add educational details and hit the ‘Save & Proceed’ button.

1.4 - Further upload a passport-size photograph and signature in JPEG/ JPG format. Print the application form to save it for future reference.

1.5 - Conclude the application process by paying the application fee in online mode using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

2 - Selection/ Shortlisting of Students

Admission to courses offered at VBSPU is entrance exam-based. The university considers the scores of state/ university-level exams for admission to various courses.

3 - Payment of Admission Fee & Admission Confirmation

students selected for the programmes at VBSPU need to pay the admission fee of the course to confirm their admission at the university.
