Honest review about dy patil college.
Placements: Students get eligible for campus placement at the start of the 3rd semester. The placement cell provides different opportunities with attractive packages starting at 5 lacs per annum. Almost 70–80% of the students got placed in our batch. The highest salary package was around 22 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: There are many clubs and societies in our college that organize different festivals and events throughout the year and any student can join any of them. The campus is so big and beautiful. Hostels are the college. Classrooms and labs were well maintained with every amenities. The canteen serves a great quality of food.
Faculty: The curriculum of our course was up-to date with the newest curriculum. The faculty-to-student ratio was around 1:45. All the faculty members were highly qualified and excellent in their respective fields. They were very helpful. The exams occur twice a year and both exams are quite difficult to pass.

Best college in Maharashtra.
Placements: There is a job fest that is been conducted by the college every year and students from the 4th semester can apply for it. In that, all the interested students can apply for the companies they are interested in like HDFC, LIC, Vidhya Jyoti educational society, etc. , and give good offers to the students according to their interviews and with the best of my knowledge Around 70-80% of the students gets placed every year with a package of 2-5 Lacs, as for me I am looking to go abroad after my degree for my job.
Infrastructure: The hostels are nice, they have everything you need, especially the girls' hostel. But the girls' hostels have restricted in timings 10 pm they make create a nuisance with that. Boys don't exactly have it that strict in the hostel, one of the rectors is pretty annoying but that's about it. Hostel Fee: INR 250000 per year.
Faculty: After Bachelors if students want to go for the teaching line or any government sector then M.Com is definitely for them. All the teaching faculty of the college is very understanding and helpful you can ask your doubts after the class with your concerned teacher. All the master students are supposed to give presentations on the given topics from the syllabus which makes them ready for their future exams and helps in learn fast the semester exams are conducted every gap of 6 months and the mid-sem are conducted with the duration of 3 months and from my experience, mid sem are easy to pass and semester exam is also easy if you have listened well in the lecture.

The hostel of this college is awesome.
Placements: From the 3rd semester, the students will be eligible for the placements if they are applying. The placement cell of our college are very active as I started before. Every year Various reputed companies like Deloitte, PWC, EY, AMAZON, GOOGLE, ICICI BANK, FEDERAL BANK, HINDUSTAN UNILEVER, and a lot more visit our college for placement and paid internships. The range of packages is from 4 lahks to 24 lahks in the last year and almost 80% per cent of applicants from B.Com and 90% of applicants from M.Com got placed in the previous academic year. So the placement of our college is very good. The companies offer the students for different job profiles like HR, MARKETING, SOFTWARE, FINANCE, etc. So if any student is thinking about the placement criteria, then don't think and just get admitted. After getting the degree I'm to pursuing Ph.D. in finance from our college itself because Xavier's is providing us with the opportunity of research study and analysis also.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is very good. It doesn't feel like living in the hostel, it always feels like living in a hotel. All the facilities are available. Hostel Mess has very good food with different dishes every day and the menu changes every week, Mess provides 2 times breakfast in the morning and evening, lunch in the afternoon, and dinner at night. Hostel Fee : INR 200000 per year.
Faculty: I chose this course because I wanted to get a masters degree in commerce from a well-known institute. Here in this institution, the student-faculty ratio was about 20:1 that's pretty good. The teaching faculty here were highly qualified professionals from well-known institutes as well. Teaching standards were always high and well-maintained. Exams and Terms are taken in a systematic and timely manner, with easy to moderate difficult levels. Class size;-60 Course feels;-INR 70000 per year.
