DY Patil Dental College Pune BDS Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admission Dates, Seats

NEET UG is the accepted entrance exam for admission to the BDS course of DY Patil Dental College. Hence, to secure a seat, candidates must complete the NEET UG registration process. As of now, the NTA has not released the complete schedule for NEET UG 2025. The registration process will tentatively begin in the first week of March 2025. The registration window will remain open till the first week of April 2025 (tentative). The exam is expected to be conducted in the first week of May 2025.

To be eligible to pursue BDS at DY Patil Dental College Pune, candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent qualification, with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology), with the minimum aggregate as specified below:

• General (Open) category candidates must have scored at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together
• PWD candidates in the General category must have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together
• Candidates belonging to a constitutional reservation category and PWD candidates of such category must have scored a minimum aggregate of 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together

Yes, a full-time Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is available at DY Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pune. The duration of the programme is five year, including a compulsory internship of one year. A stipend is paid to students during the internship. The college offers 100 seats for its BDS course. As per the official information available on the college's official website, the DY Patil Dental College, Pune BDS fee structure includes tuition fee, development fee, university-eligibility fee and hostel fee (with mess charges). The fees must be submitted in annual instalments, except for the university-eligibility fee, which is payable only once during the first year. The NEET 2025 admit card was released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on April 30, 2025, four days before the exam date. NEET 2025 was held on May 4, 2025.  

Prior to the release of the NEET admit card, NTA released the advance intimation of exam city slip on April 23, 2025, a week before releasing the NEET 2025 admit card. The document mentions the city of the NEET exam centre allotted to candidates. Generally, NTA does not release the NEET admit card release date in advance. Candidates have to log in to the NEET website with their registration credentials to download the admit card of NEET 2025. 

The NEET 2025 result is expected to be released in the first week of June 2025, within a month of conducting the exam. NTA does not announce the NEET result date in advance. Although last year the result date was stated to be declared on June 14, NTA released it 10 days in advance. Hence, there is no fixed date or schedule for NTA to declare the NEET result. Prior to the declaration of the result, NTA releases the final NEET answer key. Last year, NEET was conducted on May 5 and the result was declared June 4.
