The NIRF ( national institutional ranking framework) have ranked Dr. D. Y PATIL MEDICAL college at 15th position all over India and at 1st position in Maharashtra.

Dr. D. Y. Patil is very much different from other collges as it provides the best medical healthcare institute services and infrastructure to all the students studying to grow and develop themselves by which they will be getting their desired dream job . 

For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was 509606 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre.

MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and it is a five year undergraduate medical degree.MSC stands for Master of Science and it is a two year post graduate degree.Both degrees are reputed in their respective fields and are considered STEM degrees.And both the degrees focus on Science and medicine.

One of the main differences between MBBS and M.Sc is that MBBS is a professional branch while M.Sc is not considered a professional branch. After completion of M.Sc, one can get into research programs or research or teaching etc. but you cannot do the same with MBBS degrees. 

If a candidate's interest in studying further in various disciplines such as nursing, radio imagining and cardiac surgery Intel etc. then pursuing M.Sc can be considered a great step. 

Lastly both the degrees hold their own reputation in various fields but it totally depends on the interest of the pursuer which field they should opt in any of the degrees.
