H N National College of Engineering.
Placements: This is a new college, and I'm in the 2 year of it. Starting placements haven't been conducted yet, but the college has a partnership with many companies due to name. Namely, Infosys and stuff we get free springboard for now, the teachers have many connections through which you can get your internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay, not too good, not too bad. Washrooms are bad, but their renovation is. There is a pu block, an MBA and MCA block and an engineering block. Sports are very good, there is a huge ground for that. There is a gym. The canteen is bad. Wi-Fi is trash. The library and computer lab are the best.
Faculty: Faculty is encouraging. VTU curriculum makes it hard, but it's doable. Sem exams are difficult indeed, not too bad, not too easy. We have two intermediate exams, CiE 1 and CiE2. The course is relevant. VTU has changed the curriculum and made it more industry-ready.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the whole college and faculty.
Placements: This is a newly opened college, unlike a degree college. It has been only 2 years. The college does not have placements yet. Even in the future, I don't expect placements from this college, as the management does not seem interested in working on them. They just take money and teach nothing. There are no companies. Our seniors from the MCA course are jobless. There are zero placements. If you join, you are on your own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is bad. You only get a new classroom in the first year. After that, you are moved to bad classrooms with broken benches and poor lighting. The washrooms are bad. There is no Wi-Fi. The library is useless. The hostel is bad, and the food is bad. The laboratories are good. There is no campus space to sit. Basically, there is no space for students to sit in college except for classrooms, and even classrooms are in short supply.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. They are qualified, but they lack teaching skills. Only 4 to 5 teachers are good. The curriculum does not make us ready for exams, let alone the industry. Semester exams are according to VTU, and the question papers are from VTU. They are moderate in difficulty.
Other: I chose this college because it is near the metro, with both the Green and Yellow Lines. Travelling is convenient. I take this course because I am interested in it. I hope they bring the old teachers back or hire people who actually know how to teach rather than just read PPTs. Campus life is dead. Classes run from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM. It feels more like a school than a college. One good thing is that they give a scholarship of Rs. 5,000 to students with a 9 SGPA and above and Rs. 1,000 to students with an 8 SGPA and above. The trekking club is really nice. Overall, campus life needs improvement.

It's a good college, and I would recommend it.
Placements: Since it's a recently opened college, there are no placements for the engineering stream. However, for the other streams, there are really good placements. They did tell us that they will be providing placements later on. Instead, they are offering extra internship training programs from MNCs.
Infrastructure: The course I am currently in is the most trending one. Hence, it is good. In fact, the faculty is really very good and supportive. About the hostel, that too is recently opened. So, facilities like washing machines and Wi-Fi are not yet provided. But it will be done soon.
Faculty: Teachers are really good as well as approachable. They are all doctorates and have quite a good amount of experience. The teaching is good, and they are affiliated with the VTU. Hence, all exams are conducted according to the instructions given by the university.
Other: Fests are conducted, but not that much.
