Best college for B.Sc. Agriculture.
Placements: The college does not provide placement opportunities but the university does provide placement for students who are interested in jobs. Most of them prefer higher studies. Most of the students also prepare for competitive examinations.
Infrastructure: Best infrastructure in Bihar. There are well-maintained classrooms with AC facilities and we'll design benches. Every class is provided with the latest smart board technologies. The hostel is well maintained and cleanliness is a major motto of our college. The infrastructure is the finest.
Faculty: The exams are conducted in midterm and final semester. The exams are conducted tough. The exam hall is monitored with cameras and no cheating or malpractice can be performed. One has to work hard to pass the exam and you get a scholarship of INR 12,000 for every semester.

College gives stipend of Rs.2000 per month.
Placements: Generally, agriculture is another a good course if you want to get placements. Placements here are average, generally, software and agricultural companies visit this college. Do not prefer this college if you want placements. If you want a job from the college then opt for computer Science and other branches. If you are passionate then come here.
Infrastructure: Hostel is a good and the university has all the basic infrastructure and is in a developing mode. A new building is constructed. Infrastructure is improving day by day. One of the biggest indoor stadiums is under construction on our campus. I think this university has good opportunities to develop.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, especially new courses have great and enthusiastic teachers. We have a semester here. Young teachers are good. We Also have old teachers working for 30 years 40 years and they are not up to the mark as they are still using old-based technique. They need to change their mindset.
Other: I chose this course because of interest in agriculture. I would recommended this course if you have an interest in it.

Review of Dr. Kalam Agricultural College.
Placements: Students who scored good percentages in their academics get placed in our college. Many agricultural companies visit our college to recruit students. The salary offered is Rs.15,000 to Rs.25,000 per month. Top recruiting company is Syngenta.
Infrastructure: Hostel is very good and clean. Mess facility is good compared to other colleges in India. Our college provides many facilities like laboratories, a library, etc. Our classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, smartboards, and Wi-Fi. It is a top agricultural college in Bihar in terms of infrastructure.
Faculty: All the professors in our college are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Semester exams are not difficult. Students can pass exams easily. They give their best to teach students. This course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry ready.

Our college provides very good and attractive infrastructure.
Placements: Fewer students get placed in our college because many students focus on the JRF exam for higher education. Students got seats in many colleges through JR like Imphal Agricultural College, Vishwa Bharti College, and Bihar Agricultural College.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided in our college like Wi-Fi in classrooms, offices, and hostels but due to less technical staff students are not able to use Wi-Fi. Labs are good but because of fewer professors, labs are not properly used. Classrooms are very good with all the facilities. The library is good but all the books are not available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified. Their teaching quality is the best. They are very knowledgeable and come from different good colleges like Tamil Nadu Agricultural College and Viswa Bharti College. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry ready. Semester exams are not difficult but students face difficulty in preparation due to less time. The pass percentage is 5 CGPA. The maximum CGPA scored by students is 9. Our college has 23 faculty members but needs 40.
Other: I chose this course because I had more interest in agriculture. Our college should teach extra subjects. Events and fests organised in our college are very few. Students get a scholarship of Rs.2,000 per month. Extracurricular activities are very less in our college.

It is India's best agricultural college, with a beautiful landscape.
Placements: There are no direct placements from our college. Most students opted for PG.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and well-maintained. It has well-maintained classrooms, labs, and a library. Wi-Fi is available on campus. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. It is well maintained. The mess food is average. A sports complex is available. The library has more than 6000 books.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. They have Ph.D.s from top colleges such as BHU, IIT, etc. This course is very relevant. There are internal and external exams. The internal exam is for 30 marks. We get 20 marks for the viva. We also have practicals, assignments, and externals each semester.

Placements here are really low. Professors are well qualified with good experience.
Placements: Placements here are really low. There are only a few to no companies that come for campus placements in Bihar state. Students although clearing a tough exam to get into this college are still worried about their future and most students prepare for various competitive exams students usually opt for off-campus placement and most of them prepare for competitive exams.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really great with 2 boys' hostels which includes one for the fisheries department and one for the agriculture. All the fittings are of top-notch quality. We can compare it to the private colleges in the northern states although it lacks maintenance issues. Even a school and a medical hospital along with the animal hospital building is well constructed and have all the amenities and devices but the main issue is that it is non-functional.
Faculty: Professors are well qualified with good experience. All the professors posted here are good rank holders in JRF a. Junior research fellowship and great knowledge of the vast area of agriculture science the professors are also researching in their area of department alongside teaching ourselves and they are really very helpful if you are a studious one.
Other: It's not easy to get admission in this college. One must clear the BCECE exams conducted by Bihar government and secure a good rank there. Also, it provides a fellowship on monthly basis of 2000 per month for whole course duration if the student scores more than 5 CGPA every semester. Also, there is an additional support for book purchase of ?6000 a year or the books will be provided by the ICAR. The fees is very low almost minimum. One has to pay an approximately 10000 at the time of admission which includes the first semester fees and the charge for subsequent semesters is INR 2000 to INR 3000. It's a free of cost study if we compare the fees with the fellowship provided. Only the monthly charges of mess is to be paid by the students which varies approximately INR 3000 may even rise further. Hostel facility for student is also free of cost. One can focus on their exams as it's quite a long distance from the main town Kishanganj. Approximately 30 km and the population of the student is really low here with approximately 300 students in whole campus of 350 acres.

Placements provided in this college are not good.
Placements: Around 80-90% of placements are provided to students with a 5 GPA. There are not many companies to offer placements for our course. Most students are doing post-graduation through ICAR, pre-PG exams, or other competitive exams, and some of them are preparing for government exams.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided in both boys' and girls' hostels like water, very good rooms, study chairs and tables, a balcony, fans, and tube lights. The terrace view of our college is very good. Washrooms are clean. A mess facility and many workers are provided in the hostel. Sports are played.
Faculty: Semester exams are average. If students work hard, they will clear semester exams. Faculty members teach students in Hindi and English.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be an agriculture officer.
