Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology Scholarships and Funding

Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology awards Arutchelvar Vidya Sakthi [AVS] scholarships of INR 7000000/- which is provided to 400 meritorious students every year. Arutchelvar Vidhya Sakthi Scholarship (AVS Scholarship) will be awarded to hundred first year students during Second semester based on their performance in Semester I and also considering their economical background. The scholarship amount will be Rs. 10, 000/- for I year and based on their academic performance in forthcoming semesters the scholarship will be continued to the students till Final year as follows:
II year – Rs. 15,000/-
III Year – Rs. 20,000/-
IV year – Rs. 25,000/-

Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology awards Tamil Nadu State Government Scholarship - for all students (1 Year to IV Year) for BC/BCM/MBC/DNC category of candidates.Only government quota students are eligible to apply whose annual income is below INR 2 Lakhs /-.

Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology awards Tamil Nadu State Government Scholarship - for all students (1 Year to IV Year) for SC/SCA/ST/Converted Christian (Adi-Dravidar) candidates. Both government quota and management quota students are eligible to apply whose annual income is SC/SCA/ST : below INR 2.5 Lakhs and converted christian (Adi-Dravidar) annual income : below INR 2 Lakh.

Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology awards Tamil Nadu State Government Scholarship - for all students (1 Year to IV Year) for special scholarship - for SC/SCA/ST. Both government quota and management quota students are eligible to apply whose annual income is below INR 1 lakh.Students should be a hostler from any district except
Coimbatore and Tiruppur (Nearby District).

Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology awards Tamil Nadu State Government Scholarship - for all students (1 Year to IV Year) from minority category. Students whose annual income is below INR 2.5 Lakhs are eligible to apply.

Good college with decent placements if you are technically strong through your own efforts.

Placements: Our course has no passed-out batch in my college as it was just introduced in my college in 2022, but our seniors are undergoing placement drives currently and are looking promising for a decent percentage of return in number of placements. Well maintained, and good quality of education.

Placements: Almost 90 percent of students are placed in our college. The highest package in our batch is about 13 LPA, and the lowest is about 3 LPA. The top recruiters for our course are Microsoft and Tech Mahindra. Almost 95% of students got internships from our course. Companies like VVDN and CareSoft are the best companies for the ECE field. The roles offered for my course are Site Engineer, Product Design, Product Engineer, Developer, etc.

Decent faculty members and fun campus life, but needs better industry exposure.

Placements: Around 40-60% of students got placed in our course. The highest package is around 10 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average is about 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and a few startups. About 40-50% of students got internships, mostly in mid-size tech companies or startups. Top roles offered are software developer, data analyst, associate engineer, and support engineer.

Overall best College for MCA Course.

Placements: College placement records are improving year after year. Last time, the placement record was 95%. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Josh technology and Walmart visit our campus every year. The average package is 10 lacs and the highest package last year was 20 lacs in campus.
