The cutoff has been released for different categories of students belonging to the AI and HS quotas. Round 6 is the final cutoff list based on JoSAA counselling. As per the Round 6 cutoff 2025, the top three most competitive BTech branches for admission among the General AI category students are B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) and B.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing, with closing ranks of 2409, 2952 and 3277, respectively.
For the Home State quota, the JEE Main ranks for BTech admission varied between 3530 and 45837 for the General category. Considering the cutoff ranks, the most and least sought-after specialisations for admission are B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, respectively.
