Worth for the campus life alone.

Placements: The placements for our batch when compared to the senior batches were good but we had to fight for them. Almost every company will offer you CTC from 3 to 7 LPA. Companies include ITC, Cremica, Nestlu00e9, ZS associates, EXL, Zycus, etc. Out of 25 eligible students, 23 were placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is 50+ years old. It is like most of the government buildings. Library is adequate for the size of the batch. Wi-Fi speeds are substantially faster than your traditional network. Hostels are too small for 2 to live in. But after some time you'll get used to them.

Faculty: This college is short on faculty. Course curriculum is extensive and you will get to learn a lot even some core concepts of chemical engineering. But your base will be taught to you by guest faculty. The permanent faculty is good with their subjects and will teach you adequately.

One of the best institute for Chemical engineering.

Placements: The Placements of B.E. Chemical are very impressive. The average package is around above 4.5 lacs. B.E. Food tech has less placements comparatively. The visiting companies of food varies annually. Only 7-8 students out of 30-32 are placed in Food technology while the number is very high for chemical engineering.

Infrastructure: The department has decent infrastructure, not so good. Library and computer lab are well built. Other labs have facilities but not maintained to the level. A major area of department is covered by ground. The location of department in the university is satisfactory, just in front of Student centre canteen and A. C. Joshi library.

Faculty: Faculty is either too good or below average. The senior professors are highly experienced and are able to impart the knowledge. But the guest faculty appointed does't stand to the expectations. Professors and assistant professors are all available for any help or guidance. The curriculum is useful according to the course.

Other: Regular workshops, sports events, fest are conducted in the department. There are number of clubs like dance, music, art and oratory.
