DCE's admission process for UG and PG courses is conducted in online mode only. The admission process to courses is either based on merit or entrance exam scores conducted at the national/ state level. Admission eligibility for courses offered by this college, along with their qualifying entrance exams, is listed below:

1: Online Application
Candidates are required to fill out the online application form available on the College website.
2: Document Verification
Upon submission of the online application, candidates must have their documents verified.
3: Course Allocation
Course and branch allocation to candidates are done based on their merit and seat availability.
Admissions to regular BTech programmes are based on four online off-campus counselling. During the first and second counselling, admission is made on the basis of JEE Main score. For the remaining seats, third and fourth counselling is conducted by HSTES to grant admission to the candidates based on Class 12 merit. Direct admission is also possible to BTech.
Candidates are required to qualify GATE with a valid score to seek MTech admission for admission to this course.
4: Fee Payment
Candidates who have been allocated a course and branch need to proceed with the payment of the Dronacharya College of Engineering fee for the allocated course and branch.

The admissions for the B.Tech programme are through centralized process of counseling which is based upon the merit of (JEE Mains/ HSTES). 50% of the seats will be filled through entrance test scores and 50% through Direct Admission.
