B.Tech. in Electronics and Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027

Best engineering college in Gurugram.
Placements: I am passing out in the year 2027 so I don't know a lot about placements but the placements are good if you maintain an overall percentage above 70% because most of the companies tasks for it here. Don't expect any big MNC hiring on campus placement like Google, Microsoft, etc. The placement rate is nearly 70%.
Infrastructure: Facilities are available in the college for my course all the labs are here even though some equipment is not up to the mark but yes they are available. There are multiple labs with good computers also electronics labs. A hostel and mess facility are not available in the college you will need to rent out a PG nearby.
Faculty: The faculty is the best part. All the faculty members are helpful and well-qualified and will help you in all the ways. The course is good and equips you with all the general and necessary outlines of the industry but doesn't drive in depth. Semester exams are generally a little tough.
Other: I chose this course because this course allows me to get the best of both the world's CSE and ECE and makes me eligible for placement in both departments. You can't expect a lot of fests here in the college and especially night fests are None.

Best place to shape your career.
Placements: Our college has a good placement record over the past years. We have good and valuable placements for the skilled students. The placement percentage is about 90%. We have an entrepreneurship cell, which helps the students to get jobs in decent companies. Every year, companies like Capgemini, IBM, Wipro and many other renowned companies visit our college for the placements.
Infrastructure: We have a well established infrastructure with a lush green campus. The classrooms are neat and clean. In the campus, we have a well-stocked library for the students, which is well air-conditioned. The food in the canteen is awesome. We have cafe coffee day in the campus. The hotel rooms are well cleaned. They provide every facility required by the students.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation. They focus more on weak students. The student to faculty ratio is 35-40:1. We have industry exposure also. The course curriculum is useful and made by MD University.
Other: We have various fests and events in the campus. The connectivity in the college is good. Each department's HOD's and faculty members emphasize more on extracurricular activities like sports, dancing etc. The college provides scholarships to every student who got 70 and above percent in their XII standard. They continue the scholarship if the student scores around 70-75% in the university examinations. The scholarships are provided to the rank holders also.

Good for studious students.
Placements: Placement of our batch was good and also of our senior batch. Mostly Students got placed. The highest package mostly depends on the student calibre. The lowest can come to 2.10 LPA. The average package remains from 3-4 LPA. There is a placement cell and the placement in charge is really good. They keep you updated about every possible opportunity that comes.
Infrastructure: The faculties around here are decent. All classrooms are equipped with projector. Labs are decent. There are sports activities arranged sometimes. Quality of the canteen food is below average I would say. Overall the infrastructure is decent. That's all.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good. They help you as you need. The teaching quality is good enough. They provide you notes and every month you have to go through sessional exams which in my opinion I would say they come too early before you get the result of previous you are giving the next one.

A good college with good placements every year.
Placements: As I am in this college from the last four years, I can say that college invites reputed companies like Capgemini, Wipro, Elite Solutions etc. Almost 95% of the students got placed in the companies according to their ability. The package offered ranges from 2.4 LPA to 13 LPA based on the student's performance. Recently, many companies like Capgemini, Wipro, etc., visited the college. In the starting, companies usually hire students for the role of an analyst. Almost all the students got internships from college as it is compulsory in the final year. By the internship, students get to know about the new technology. During the internship, students were offered the package of Rs. 10,000-20,000 per month. There is a placement cell which is managed by good faculty members, and it is useful for students to get placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi facility is available for 500 m range, and the students can access the internet at any time. Labs are fully furnished, and every lab has 2 faculty members so that each student gets to know about the things accurately. Classrooms are ventilated and have a good environment. There are projectors in every classroom so that the students can learn and understand the topics easily. Quality of food in the canteen is good and healthy. Hostel rooms are good and furnished. There is a separate playing room in the hostels where students can play.
Faculty: Faculty members are well educated, helpful and knowledgeable enough to teach the students. Their teaching quality is good and preferable as they teach us through projectors, and the students can easily understand and learn the topics in the class.

It is a modern-era Gurukul for students.
Placements: The placement team did a tremendous job and organised a large number of regular placement drives for students. I got placed in four companies, namely Capgemini, Wipro, Optra Automation and Kellton. Along with me, almost all the students got placed in reputed companies with the help of the placement team.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is just amazing. It has air-conditioned labs. The central library of our college is well maintained. Huge courts are provided for various sports like basketball, football, badminton etc. Medical facilities in the college are good. Wi-Fi facility is also available on the entire campus.
Faculty: The faculty team has always supported the students in academics as well as co-curricular activities. The faculty members are helpful, and they go out of their way to provide support to the students. Various events are organised in our college apart from academics to help us improve our practical knowledge. An event called Dronspark is organised every year where students get to exhibit their projects and win prizes for their innovative and technical skills.

Our college is academic oriented, and it lacks focus on the overall development of students.
Placements: Only 13 students out of 30 from the current batch got placements. This is the first batch, so there are no seniors. The placement percentage was around 43.33%. The highest salary package offered was around 3.4 LPA, and the lowest Salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Companies like Barclays, TCS, IGATE, BT, UST, Aon Hewitt, Ericsson, Pinoeer-e-Solutions, etc., visited our college to offer placements. Roles related to IT development, communication engineering, and testing domains were offered to placed students. There was a placement cell in our college.
Infrastructure: The college provides the Wi-Fi facility. The labs and library were well-equipped. The classrooms were not air-conditioned, but there were wooden benches and a projector in every classroom. The medical facilities provided by the college were poor. The sports facilities were limited to games like badminton and volleyball. Hostel facility was provided in the college. The hostel rooms and the mess food were very bad.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The course curriculum is somewhat useful. The industrial exposure provided for the students of electronics department was high, but it was moderate for the students of other departments like CSE and IT departments. Workshops were also moderate for communication department students. The student to faculty ratio was 6:1. Their teaching quality was also average, and they use green board and projector for teaching.
Other: Our college organises a range of technical events, but there were no cultural events and fests. The campus crowd was average. The connectivity was poor, and the campus surroundings were also not much good. They organise extracurricular activities for the students of the technical branch.

It is a good college for students who just want to study. Good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Placements in our college were good, and a lot of companies visit our campus for placements by the end of September. The salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 12LPA. Companies like Capgemini, Wipro, Pin click, Usha Private Ltd, Kellton, etc., many different companies visit our campus for placements. They offer designations like a softer tester, web developer, business executive etc. The stipend offered range from Rs. 18,000 to 25,000 per month, and it depends on the company and the work assigned. There is a placement cell, and it is very effective and useful. TPO provides all the information one needs during placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided on the campus are average. There are labs were for practicals whether it's software-based or hardware-based. Wi-Fi is available in every lab, and 30 students can use individual Wi-Fi. Classrooms were comfortable and well-ventilated, and the library is fully equipped. There is a medical facility for emergency purpose. There is a basketball and volleyball court. The quality of the food served in the canteen is average. I was a day scholar, so don't know about the hostel facility. I didn't face any issues regarding the infrastructure of our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified and knowledgeable. They help until you don't understand. The quality of teaching is good. They use teaching methods like powerpoint presentations, active communications, etc. Industrial visits were conducted, where we visit various industries and learn their working methods.
Other: Events Like ICCCS conferences, sports day, farewell parties were organised in our college every year. Fest is not conducted here. Scholarships were provided to students based on some conditions.

Review of Dronacharya College of Engineering.
Placements: Students who have good knowledge and interested to work in the private sector are placed at a good salary package. Many top brands visit our college for placements. If anyone is ready to work hard, then they will surely get placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise the college has a beautiful campus with lush green surrounding. Laboratories are up to date and well-maintained. Canteens are well-maintained and hygienic, and they serve a good range of food items. A small CCD is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. They are more like a friend to us. They are always available in any need or help. The college strictly follows the university pattern, which is made by MDU. Many tests are conducted so that students do not get a backlog in final university paper.
