Ragging free campus and helpful people.
Placements: Till 2022, there was no placement drive conducted on campus. But recently they have introduced and started placement fair on campus which is definitely working and beneficial for students. As of now, the placement drive this year is not up to the mark but few students got placed.
Infrastructure: Courses are interesting and all the amenities are available in the aspect of studies. But when it comes to hostel, there is no hostel facility available on campus. Previously, there used to be a canteen but now it is closed. Every year college conducts sports day where you can participate in different sports and games, and you can also join NCC.
Faculty: Faculty members are undoubtedly very experienced, well-qualified, and helpful. Everybody has a unique way of teaching. I can't say about other courses but professors from our course are detail oriented and they provide practical knowledge as well. Semester exams are not that difficult and it's quite easy to score.
Other: I was very fond of economics and I wanted to take it up for my further studies. The subject is very interesting and it enables everybody to think practically. The well-qualified and experienced professors are the best part. They will go above and beyond to make you understand a topic. Beside this the campus crowd is normal and you would be able to enjoy fest freshers every year. You can also join NCC if you wish to which will help you in future.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 70 percent marks are mandatory for placement. I have no idea about the highest and lowest package because placement starts this year. Top recruiters are TCS and Mahindra. They can hire you if you have the qualities they seek. For internships, a minimum of 50 percent is required.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-developed and good. Classrooms have a number of fans and lights for our comfort. Wi-Fi facility is available, along with computer labs, an auditorium, and hostel facilities for both boys and girls. A library and canteen are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in this college. Their teaching technique is very good. They help students in every possible way until they understand. B.Com and M.Sc. teachers are very supportive, more so than geology and other departments. These departments need more skilled teachers.
Other: Especially getting a chance in DGC is also not easy because one has to score at least 80 percent to confirm their seat.

Experiencing my college life.
Placements: Our college provided multiple training programs and placement training, and also companies like TCS are taking students from our college for jobs. Many students from our college have done internship programs during college days and interviews from companies like TCS, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are very well cleaned and designed, and the food in the canteen is also pretty good. We have many labs, and we enjoyed Wi-Fi connections in our college area as well. There is a huge library in our college too, where students used to collect books and study our subjects as per semesters.
Faculty: Yes, our faculty teachers and other teachers are very generous and kind. They helped us with various notes and books, with guidance on how to study. There are many other curricular activities like internships, social festivals, exhibitions, etc. We had a great pass percentage, mostly 80% and above.
Other: It is very market-friendly. Currently, accounting is needed in everything, so I thought it would be useful to study something that is in demand. Nothing I dislike as it is right now; maybe in the future, there could be some more extra practical industry visits or something like that. It would be more great.

Durgapur Government College Review.
Placements: College provides placements. All our seniors and other ex-students of our college have been placed in very good positions in different companies across various cities. Their academic background helped a lot in getting jobs. All students are happy that they chose this college to complete their course.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-furnished labs, classrooms, projectors, and many other facilities that help students continue their studies effectively. Our college has two libraries: one central library for all departments and another seminar library in our department. We have access to free Wi-Fi, which helps students download notes and other useful resources. Hostel facilities are available and are well maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is undoubtedly very good. They hold separate doubt-clearing classes, for which we are very grateful. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, but the excellent teaching makes the exams a bit easier.
Other: Our college also provides various scholarships that encourage students and help them achieve a better future. I chose this course because I heard it is very well taught here and offers many seminars, different activities, inter-college competitions, and much more.

Best Science college in Paschim Bardhaman.
Placements: After doing B.Sc. in this course, you don't get much placement, but after doing M.Sc., about 90% placement is available. Overall package is between 4 LPA to 10 LPA. Top required companies are Indian Oil, Indian Gas, ONGC, Vedanta, Sun Petro Chemical, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. In our department, Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are both chalkboard and presentation based. In our college, there are 2 libraries, one in the main building with more than 50,000 books available and one in the department where we can study.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly educated; they all have Ph.D.s and are very knowledgeable. They help us in every way, even financially, and their teaching techniques are very helpful to us. The level of semester exams is moderate, and the passing percentage is almost 100.

This college has the best teachers and labs, & the bond between students and teachers is very strong
Placements: In this course, our batch strength is 15. The highest package is 22 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. There are many companies like ONGC, IMD, ECL, Hindustan Zinc Limited, and others. We got internships from ONGC, SAIL, TCS, and other companies. Our role involves surveying and data collection from the field to find oil or other minerals.
Infrastructure: Our department has a total of 11 professors. They are highly qualified, and the Wi-Fi connection is available. The labs are very good, with many instruments, so we don’t have any problems doing our work. The library is also excellent, with many books available. We can go and read books at any time.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They help us not only with our studies but also with any other problems. The quality of their teaching is very good. The exams at the college are a little bit hard, but the pass percentage is 100. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready.
