B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027

GEC Ajmer: Think twice before admission.
Placements: My college's mechanical engineering has the most placements in comparison to any other branch in the college, which means mechanical engineering is the best branch here overall. Almost 60 students got placed this year, and most of them in the Adani company, so you can consider mechanical engineering in this college.
Infrastructure: Our department has good classrooms, Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and a rich library. Facilities are decent with clean rooms, 24/7 water, and Wi-Fi. Mess food is okay. The canteen is better. Basic medical aid is available. Sports facilities also include volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good with a focus on concepts. The curriculum is mostly relevant and includes practical exposure. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, with a pass percentage of around 60% or more.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in machines and design. It offers strong core subjects and practical exposure. More industry tie-ups and software training would help. Campus fests, crowds, and activities are great. Scholarships and connectivity are good.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028

Good college at this fee.
Placements: Placement for core branches is quite strong, especially for mechanical, although the tech branch is still decent. If you have the right skills, you can secure good off-campus placements. Companies like Adani have recruited students from core branches. Placement could be better.
Infrastructure: For the tech branch college, computer labs with Wi-Fi and AC rooms are available. There are proper labs for them. College has a seminar room. In the core branch, there are separate labs for students for every subject. College has a library with Wi-Fi available in it, and you can issue books from it.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good with a friendly nature. Especially in tech branches, faculty members are well qualified and helpful. For students, exams are a bit different because of the lack of proper scheduling. Sometimes exams occur in the middle of the semester, I think it is because of covid.

If you want B.Tech degree from a government college then you can take admission to this college.
Placements: At least 60% of students got placed every year from the college. The highest package of this year, 2025 is around 14 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys and TCS. Almost everyone got the internship as company provides you a lot of roles in the college like junior software engineer and a lot.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not that much as compared to a private college like all the classrooms are not air-conditioned only some of them are air-conditioned. Labs are good, Wi-Fi is not good, and library is okay, but not air-conditioned. Hostel food is the worst and the sports facility is okay as our college has a sports fest every year. Canteen is also not good.
Faculty: The teachers are amazing, and the only thing in this college that is excellent is the faculty. Teachers are very helpful. Semester exams are not that difficult if you studied approximately 60% of the syllabus then you can easily score more than 7 CGPA. This course also provides a lot of workshops in the college and you also get a certificate for those workshops.
Other: As the computer science core branch is a very great branch in this college This college fest is known as Tarangini and the fest is not that good but you can participate in various activities. Campus crowd is okay not that good and surroundings are good though.

B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security) - Batch of 2026

Review of Engineering College, Ajmer.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech in cyber security and my batch is first in this branch. So we are the first to sit in placements in our branch. So let's see the percentage of placements and average package in 2026. But in other branches the placement ratio is above average and approximately 65%-70% of students got placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and classrooms are good. Labs are advanced and SMART. The library is good and well-mannered. All the books related to the course are available to issue to all the students, and the campus is fully Wi-Fi connected. Hostel by the government is not available for the boys, but for girls, there is a very good hostel where all the girls are taken care of. Boys have to stay outside the campus. There are many PGs and hostels available outside the college campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and helpful. They help students every time and encourage students to study and participate in extracurricular activities, hackathons, quizathons, etc. There are also guest faculty members available for every subject to guide us and help us. The level of semester exams is moderate, and approximately 80%-85% of students passed in semester exams.

The college is good and now transformed into an RIT, equivalent to NIT, by Rajasthan government.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Companies like Denso, Meta Cube, and various other well-reputed like L&T come to hire students. The roles offered by them are GET (Graduate Engineering Trainee), and some offer roles as per their criteria.
Infrastructure: Hostels as of now only available for girls. Labs are highly maintained, with advanced technology and computers in a good environment. Wi-Fi is also provided by the college. Classrooms are well-maintained and clean. There is a positive environment for studies.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and most of them are Ph.D. holders, with many having teaching experience of more than 15 to 20 years. All courses are relevant, including CS, ME, EE, and various others, with good content for study. All syllabus are decided by a committee helped by BTU, AICTE, etc.

Our college is quite good enough.
Placements: Currently, I'm not aware of placements, but yes I have asked my seniors for that and the answers are quite disappointing because the placements and not so good in my courses. Placements are very good in branches like mechanical, civil, EE, and ECE. The percentage of students got internships is around 60%, and the students have done very well. One of the main reasons behind low placement is students have a family pressure of doing government job rather than in the private sector. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good according to the government college. There is Wi-Fi available in very building. Currently hostel facilities are available for girls only but soon the college is deciding to build the hostel for boys as well. Mess good is 3/5, not so good. Canteen is nice, small but the taste is very good. Sports and games facilities are quite decent. Games like volleyball, football, cricket, table tennis, basketball, and some other sports are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for very kind students. Their knowledge and pattern of teaching are awesome. Course curriculum is relevant. Every single action and order is to be notified earlier. Semester exams are easy for those who have studied a little bit, but it just all depends on faculty members. The behavior is noticed by faculty members, if it's good then it can help us in practical and in many things. The passing percentage is 36%. The best thing about faculty members of this college are supportive, helpful, and many things.
Other: I chose this course because it is the branch (cyber security) with a decent number of placements and professors also recommend this. The building infrastructure would be better if the college invested some money in it. The are many events conducted by seniors and faculty to make college life memorable. Extracurricular activities like treasure hunts, debates, and sports are conducted by the college at regular time intervals.
