Student perspective on Kurukshetra University, chemistry department.

Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and qualified from well-reputed institutions like IIT Bombay and IISC Bangalore. This course curriculum is also relevant for students as it prepares them for industry work. In labs, practicals are performed by students which is an important criterion for industry placement.

Best for academics and worst for placements.

Faculty: Faculty members are really very supportive and helpful. They are strict but they are also very friendly. Curriculum is very similar to the syllabus of NET and GATE which helps students to clear national-level exams while covering syllabus of department itself.

East or West Kurukshetra University is the best. Infrastructure and facilities are very good.

Faculty: Faculty members and course curriculum are very good. Faculty members are very supportive. All teachers are Ph.D. holders. The way they teach is very good. I'm very much satisfied with the university. Course curriculum design is very appropriate for future studies. Semester exams are very difficult as many students get to reappear in the examination.

Glimpse of Campus and Hostel.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers of my department are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The faculty members of our department are very well-educated and punctual. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Examinations are held twice a year, and the semester examinations are not so easy, therefore a student must have to work hard to get a good percentage in the examinations.

Overall good college but very hectic if you are doing Masters.

Faculty: The semester exams are quite tough here. We have to study a lot to pass these exams. I have cleared NET JRF, which also helped in clear my semester exams. Also, the faculty teaching as well as non-teaching staff are well-behaved in matters of cleanliness.
