High fees and unknown placements.
Placements: Since Fot is new and started in 2023, placement is unknown, but obviously, they will contact companies, as this college is on the main campus of Delhi University. I can not surely say anything about placement since its a new college. We will get to know about placements next year.
Infrastructure: A whole new building is under construction, while some of our classes occur in the old building, with good infrastructure, and come classes in new building, which is not yet complete, with only a few rooms complete. The worst part, but soon, construction will be complete.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but every teacher has a different teaching style, and obviously, they wont teach you like they teach in schools. At the end, you have to study on your own before exams. The course curriculum is relevant.

So this is a good college, the faculty are very kind and are well-educated and well-experienced.
Placements: As this is a new college, the first batch is yet to pass out in 2027. But as this college comes under Delhi University, which is a premium university and a central university, good placement is expected for the first batch. Top MNCs will be showing up for placement, as said by our dean.
Infrastructure: Whole building has Wi-Fi-supported classrooms and labs. Well air-conditioned classes and labs. A huge science library is also there. There are 2 canteens, and the quality of food is good. For sports and games, we have a badminton hall with 8 courts and a football ground. A gym facility is also there.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is well qualified with a good number of research papers. They are very helpful and kind. The curriculum of this course is based on the new education policy and makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are also on an average level, not too difficult, not too easy. Pass percentage is around 40 per cent.

Good faculty, but there is no infrastructure, management, and guaranteed placement opportunities.
Placements: There are no placements happening in our college, so there is no highest, lowest, or average package. Top recruiting companies would be domain-specific, such as Google for CSE students and Nvidia for ECE. Relevant areas include embedded design, fabrication, VLSI, Verilog, MATLAB, C, Java, Python, semiconductors, integrated circuits, and electrical-related fields.
Infrastructure: The college and university do not provide hostels. Labs are okay, but the number of instruments are limited. The university Wi-Fi is also okay. It works in some areas and sometimes doesn't. The library is good, and the classrooms are okay.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good. They are from reputed universities around the globe. They have achieved many things in their domain. They have a strong research backgrounds. The curriculum is also good. It aligns with industry demand. The semester exams are quite appropriate.
Other: There are very few positive aspects about this course. I mainly chose it because it has the Delhi University tag. Delhi offers good opportunities and exposure. There are many areas to improve, such as completing infrastructure development. It provides a proper ground, adding more instruments, and creating more clubs. Additionally, there is no good crowd, and extracurricular activities are lacking.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028

My college has very good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: My course is Electrical Engineering. There are a total of 48 students in my course. My college is new, so no placements have been done yet. Our first year of placement is in 2026. However, some students get internships on their own. For example, one senior of mine is doing an internship at IISM.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good. We have AC rooms with modern benches and smart classrooms. Wi-Fi is available throughout the college. There is also a library. Where we can study without any noise, with computers available. Most course books are accessible.
Faculty: Teachers at my college are well-qualified. They are very helpful and mostly available when we need them. We can also email them regarding any issues. The course curriculum is very relevant. Teachers teach the theory part, then we perform experiments in the lab. It is well-defined for both theory and practical. Mid-semester exams are of mediocre difficulty, and end-semester exams are difficult, which is important to ensure students focus on their studies.
Other: My course is Electrical Engineering. I chose this course because of the high demand in job sectors, and I can also pursue other opportunities like coding or government services. Some improvements needed in this course are more hands-on projects and increased industry exposure for students. I am in Delhi University, and I can say that campus life is very cheerful. We can attend many events in our college and other colleges in the DU campus. I learn about the culture of India through this campus.

A new college that is expected to become something good.
Placements: Currently, no batch has passed out so we do not have any stats about placements. The placement committee has been constituted formally, but currently it is not working. Nor do we have any idea about how college will help us in internships, so if you are judging colleges by past placement stats, then you should not come here.
Infrastructure: College’s own building is under construction and got delayed because of some issues with the forest department. Now it will take 2-3 years to complete. Currently, college is using Kannada Bhavan and the new DUCC building which is under construction. Kannada Bhavan is very good but DUCC new building is under construction and does not have Wi-Fi in DUCC. Classrooms and labs are great; every classroom has AC and smartboard and since college is new, the equipment in labs are also new.
Faculty: This is where the college is really good: the faculty is very supportive, and most of them have done a good amount of research. The teaching quality of most professors is great, which is quite rare in any college. The curriculum is research-focused like every college, but unnecessary parts of the engineering curriculum have been removed.
Other: I chose this college because of DU. Currently college is new but I think it is expected to become very good after 3-4 years.

The summary of my college is that it is a good college for courses like CSE, ECE, and EE B.Tech.
Placements: Faculty of Technology was started in 2023, so the batch is currently in the 3rd year. There have been no placements so far, but the 3rd-year students have secured good internships, and there is also a dedicated placement cell. FOT comes under DU, so we will surely have good placements in 2027.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the college are very good. All classrooms have AC and are big enough for every batch. Labs are also well-equipped with all the instruments up to date. They provide us with Wi-Fi, and the speed is mind-blowing. The canteen also serves good and tasty food at a very low cost.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Even if you don't know anything, they will explain from the beginning and support you in everything. The semester exams are decent, and if you study only what the teachers tell you in class, you will definitely score good marks and CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electrical engineering. Also, this is a new college, so the society and clubs are still in the development phase, but we have a sports club, and the seniors are sweet.
