The college is great if you are looking for great campus life and curriculum.

Placements: Not so great placements. We have to find our internships. Only small local corporations are there for recruitment. Not so many seniors have found placement from college. They all searched and found on their own. Don't come here expecting placements in great companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. We have our own computer lab, Wi-Fi connection, smart TV, great classroom, and great campus. The hostels are good too, but not that great; there are 3 hostels for boys. The first one is for first-year students, which has good facilities, and the second one is attached to the mess. The second one is for 2nd and 3rd years, which is okay but not that great. And the third one for sports students, which is the worst. The food in the mess is great.

Faculty: This part is the best, I would say, because our faculty members are very friendly and well qualified. They provide excellent teaching quality. The curriculum is great and relevant to the field. It has more practical applications, which makes it industry-relevant. The semester exams are manageable if you study well.

Other: The campus life is the best. Because it is one of the most renowned colleges in Kerala, students from all over the state come here. Thus, you can meet people with all the vibe. And there are programs literally every day. And the campus is green and nature-friendly, which feels great.

Review of Farook College.

Placements: More than 60% of students were placed in our course in an annual year. The highest package is 22.5 LPA and the minimum package is up to 6 LPA. Media One, the news channel, recruits our course. More than 20% of students get internships from our college.

Infrastructure: We have a very good infrastructure facility at our college. We have a well-organized library which has around 1 LPA of books in it. Our library is one of the biggest libraries in Calicut. We have Wi-Fi facilities in each corner of the college.

Faculty: We have very good faculty members to train and help us in our education. They assist us in our work and help us in every way. The teaching quality is 8/10, I'd say. In my opinion, the course curriculum is okay. The semester exams were a little hard to gain good marks.

Review of Farook College.

Placements: Most of the students get into central universities with top rankings after passing out from this college. There are no direct placements in our college. The placement cell is good. It helps students to grab better recruitment opportunities. Top recruiting companies visit our college for recruitment.

Infrastructure: There is a huge library complex named Abussabbah, and several books are available. A digital library is also available. There is a civil service coaching center named PM Institute. Classrooms are very good. All facilities are decent. Laboratories are decent. Hostel facilities are good. The food quality is decent. Medical facilities are also available. Our college is painted very well. A palliative care unit is run by this college. Sports are conducted in this college.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality is great. Teachers are friendly with students. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderately tough. The pass percentage is good.

Other: Many programs and events are conducted in this college.

I am very satisfied with this college.

Placements: Around 90% of students got placed in our course. This course is free for few students, and their tuition fee is Rs.2,000. The top recruiting companies are Philips, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Sony, IKEA, etc. The top roles are media communication manager and CEO of multimedia companies.

Infrastructure: Our campus is the main attraction of this college. Computer laboratory, chemistry laboratory, botany laboratory, and research laboratory are available. Hostel facilities are better. The building is old.

Faculty: Our teachers are well experienced and qualified. The teaching quality is better. Industrial visit is also conducted in our college. Semester exams are averagely difficult, and the pass percentage is 90%.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There are no proper placement facilities in our college. Our college has its own MBA college near the main campus, which provides lots of placement opportunities for the students. But as it is a NAAC accredited college, the value of the certificate is very valuable.

Infrastructure: We have the best infrastructure facilities in terms comparing with other colleges in Kerala. We have labs for all departments. The classrooms are always properly maintained. Other than these, our college is the only college in Kerala to have the largest library. We have a canteen, football and basketball courts too.

Faculty: The faculty members in our college are very intelligent and experienced. There are many faculty members with PhD, and they will help us with all the problems related to the course. Exams will be conducted twice a year. The pass percentage is 40%, in that 20% belongs to the internals.

Campus life is the best here.

Placements: Students who have scored above 80% in their higher secondary exams are selected for this course. The college officials will select the students who have applied for this course based on the percentage score and index marks. Roles like a journalist, designer, visualizer, reporter, etc., are offered in this course.

Infrastructure: The department is well-developed by advanced multimedia labs, including a photoshoot studio, audio recording studio, computer lab and audio and video studio. The college provides hostel facilities for the students with food at a feasible rate. The canteen is also available.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified. They are apt for the students as they are friendly. They are like a family. They are doctorates in their specified subjects. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready because the course offers practical sessions from the third semester.

Other: If you are a media lover, designer or with a journalist mind, then this is the best course for you. This course will boost your skills and knowledge. The campus is highly hygienic and clean always. The college conducts annual days and also any particular fests by any particular departments. The college also provides various scholarships for students. Students who are interested can also enrol in the activities conducted by the college.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Many leading companies from India is doing placement from this college. Most of the students have been placed in these prestigious companies. The highest package offered was about one Lacs and the lowest was about 45000. Companies like Flipkart Amazon were doing placements from this College.

Infrastructure: The college have a spacious informatics centre with free service to students and also free Wi-Fi for the welfare and betterment of pupil. College also posses a library complex with digital library also brain lipi for blinds. We have 7 hostels 4 for girls and 3 for boys with good accommodation and food and hygienic bathrooms. We also have palliative care units, sports like cricket. Football, etc.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are highly qualified who help the students in all levels and act as their guide for their future. All classes are going good and we have spacious fully illuminated classrooms. Teachers help all the students and focus more on the practical application of theories more than in classrooms.

Other: I choose this course because I am passionate about media. Farook college posses a wide variety of programs that can make the students enjoy their college life. Many stage dramas seminar sessions, debates et are also conducted.

My experience at Farook College.

Placements: Our college only offered a campus interview with Amazon, nothing apart from that. One of our classmates got selected and is now working in Hyderabad. Many others from my batch did UI/UX internships, and some got placed in local firms this year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was fully functional and well maintained in the college. But, the mess food was often unhygienic. The medical facilities were sufficient to meet the demand. Sports in Farook College were awesome, and students qualified for national-level competitions.

Faculty: Teachers were generally helpful and qualified, with most having relevant industry experience that enriched the learning process. Their knowledge in their respective fields was evident, and they were approachable for clarifying doubts. The teaching quality was good, with a mix of theoretical and practical approaches that helped in understanding complex concepts. The course curriculum was relevant and covered a wide range of topics essential for the field. It included projects and assignments. The semester exams were manageable with consistent effort and understanding of the material. The pass percentage was 25–30 percent.

Other: Farook College had vibrant events such as Fozlava and academic events such as TEDxFarookCollege. The campus was very aesthetically pleasing and filled with trees and garden.
