A course every one must learn. Power electronics
Placements: Placements have come for our batch. It started with Jacobs engineering in 2018. Now currently, Ruttonsha, Select control, Thysunkrupp Have come in the campus for recruiting M.E students. From our batch some have applied for the placements, some are willing to go in the teaching field. But our institute is making sure that all of us will be placed in a good company for job. The highest post offered is Graduate Engineer trainee. The highest package for M.E is 4.4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities for Masters of engineering in the institute are well-equipped. All the small componenets required for designing of Hardware are available in the lab. PCB making is an important task in Final year project of Masters. The tools used for that are also available. R & D lab is full time available for M.E students to carry on with their projects and exam related stuff. LAN connection is available that makes things very easier for the students. The canteen food quality is great. The variety of options are more and the students can explore new dishes.
Faculty: The faculty for M.E is highly qualified. Every one of them is highly skilled and have expertise in their respective fields. The professors always encourage to explore the subject and know more and more in detail. The curriculum set by Mumbai University for M.E is apt. It takes into account the current trends in the field of electrical engineering and also incorporates, the coding part which is essential for every power electronics engineer.
Other: Power electronics always fascinated me as a Student. This course in particular could give me a taste of power electronics and drives specially Electric vehicles. This course has helped me to gain and improve my knowledge regarding Electric vehicles and Power electronics as a whole.
