It is the best private college in terms of ROI.
Placements: My batch is Computer Science Engineering 2026 passing out. Almost 70% of students got placed in my batch. The highest package till now is 22 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA by Infosys. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, and Coding Ninja.
Infrastructure: Hostels are too good and clean, having both AC and non-AC rooms. The hostel fees are also less than those of the other college hostels. The hostel mess, I can say, in the beginning, they provide very tasty food, but after some time, the quality is not so good, but a student can manage it.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified, studied from top institutes like IITs and NITs, with more than 6 years of experience, and some have more than 10 years as well. My HOD was very supportive in every aspect regarding study as well as management.
Other: I always wanted to pursue Engineering in CS with low fees. The best thing is the ROI of my college. There are a lot of fests that take place in my college, and connectivity is very good just in front of the metro station and highway.

Galgotias College brutal honest review.
Placements: The college offers Actual Placements, mostly IT-based companies. Core companies are also there, but a little less. In my course, above 50 percent of students were placed. The highest package is approximately 20 LPA-30 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Airtel, CodingNinjas, Unominda, Zepto, Vanderlande, etc. 30 percent of students got internships in companies like DRDO, Spine trees, etc. Top roles offered include Graduate Trainee, Design Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The campus is a bit small but cute. Clean and greenery are there. In classrooms, digital boards are installed with ACs and Wi-Fi connections. We have a separate library block, and a variety of books are available. There is also an online virtual system of library resources provided by our college. In hostels, Wi-Fi is available. Proper beds, desks, and facilities, like a gym and a common room, are provided. Mess food is average and provided by the Sodexo company. Meals are purely vegetarian. The menu changes every week. There is a WhatsApp complaint group for hostel facilities. Sports and games are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly good. They are supportive. They provide better internal marks than other colleges. Teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is relevant in terms of industrial standards. It needs improvement, but it's okay for a beginner-level role in the industry for getting placed. The difficulty of semester exams is moderate, but the checking is horrible. AKTU University conducts exams and checking so they are very poor in terms of doing these.
Other: My batch is Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design & Technology). I chose this course because I love electronics, and the scope is good for this branch regarding semiconductor evolution in our country. I wish to improve the lab experiments and the placement training at my college. Galgotia College conducts Unifest, movie promotional events, guest talks, MUNs, and hackathons every year. Their event management is good, and they add improvement to academics and the college's cultural environment.

Galgotias College is a good college is Greater Noida.
Placements: Galgotias has a good placement record and they give actual placement. NIET has tie-up with many companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. When you make a little effort then you gain a placement, and their placement ratio is also good. They will also study for their placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not bad but only AC room is good in hostel. One bad thing in hostel is that lift is not working properly. Many times student get stuck in lift and their building is also old. They do not renovate their room and buildings many types are facing in the hostel like the gate is closed sharp 6:00 PM.
Faculty: Galgotias faculty members are good and I also like NEIT faculty teaching methods. They do affect students, they would try to explain in a better way and 1 of the teachers is given punishment. They also beat students in their lectures when student does not learn their homework.

What galgotias offers and what it doesn't.
Placements: The highest package is 1.3 crores that I have heard, and the average package is 6 LPA. A senior from the EEE branch told me that about 80% of students in his batch were placed, and the highest package from his batch till now was 27 LPA. Students can start applying for internships and get placed in the 3rd semester itself.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in almost every 3-4 classrooms on each floor. Labs have every necessary working equipment, and there are smartboards in every class. The library is massive, with a 350 seating capacity and a huge collection of books for knowledge in any field.
Faculty: Teachers are well-versed in their subjects and they clear your doubts absolutely, except for some. The course curriculum is a bit outdated, as is the case for every AKTU-affiliated college. The exams are moderate, which prepares students for the final university exams.
Other: The best things about my course are the ISC language which is taught for building our basics. Every branch should have a different syllabus and subjects tailored according to them. There are many events and fests, and connectivity is also good, as Knowledge Park 2 metro station is right in front of the college.

My experience at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Average package at Galgotia is 5.5 LPA, and the highest is 60 LPA. Companies that visit include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, and sometimes Zomato. The lowest package is around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with smartboards and Wi-Fi. It makes learning easy and understandable. The library offers a huge collection of books, journals, and resources. They provide students with an excellent learning environment. Overall, the experience is really good. The hostel is good. The building is quite old, but the rooms are manageable. Food is good, provided by Sodexo. The canteen, sports, and games facilities are very good.
Faculty: All faculty members are highly qualified Ph.D. holders who teach with great clarity. The curriculum is well-structured and focused on relevant topics. Semesters are not very tough. The pass percentage remains around 80–90%. Overall, everything is well-maintained.
Other: I chose this course because this field is trending and has the scope of becoming a data engineer. It includes coding. Fests are not frequent, which allows us to focus on studies. This is the best thing about Galgotia, which makes it the best in Greater Noida, because the return on investment is very good. Fees are very low compared to other colleges in Greater Noida.

College is average. Faculty members are good, placements are average and very low in core branches.
Placements: Students after completing the 6th semester are eligible for the pre-placement and after completing the 7th semester they are eligible for the campus placements. The total number of companies that visit for campus placement was 117 (in 2023) for B.Tech students. Major companies in campus placement were Cognizant, Newgen, TCS, Mindtree, Accenture, etc. The total offer given by the 117 companies is 805. The average package (in 2023) of GECT was 5 LPA and the highest packages (in 2023) was 45 LPA (off-campus) and 10 LPA (on-campus). Around 90% of students were placed on campus placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and very well-maintained. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are equipped with ACs and the library is good and well-maintained, with a wide range of books related to the course and subjects. Campus has a canteen and free Wi-Fi facilities across the campus. The sports ground and equipment are well-maintained for sports, like cricket, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, badminton, and table tennis.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:70 which is okay. Many faculty members are highly educated and some of them are Ph.D. holders and also published many research papers which increased their credibility. Course curriculum is outdated but it is not fully irrelevant to the curriculum. There are some subjects like python, java, DSA, etc., which make students industry-ready. The frequency of exams is seasonal (easy to moderate) every 1.5 months and semesters (moderate) in 5 months. There is a very good amount of time for the preparation of exams and it is very easily manageable for us.
Other: The biggest cultural fest of GCET is Unifest and the biggest technical fest is TechnoJam and both held around between March and April. There are total of 25 active both technical and nontechnical clubs available in college. They organize many cultural and technical events in college to showcase our talents.
