Placements: When it comes to placements, this college stands out among most AKTU-affiliated institutions. The average package usually falls between 4 LPA to 6 LPA, which is quite impressive. In past year placement offers reached 39 LPA and during the current placement drive many students have secured decent packages like more than 20 LPA. Renowned companies like TCS, Wipro, and Autodesk are among the frequent recruiters on campus, making it a reliable choice for placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: Campus although compact at around 20 acres, is efficiently planned. It houses a sports ground, a central library, five academic buildings, separate hostels for boys and girls, an auditorium, and tennis and basketball courts. Laboratories are equipped with updated systems, and students also have access to a neat and modern digital library.

Faculty: Faculty members here maintain a disciplined academic environment. They emphasize regular study and are particular about attendance, missing the 75% marks may even result in a call home. While the staff ensures that the students stay focused. Many faculty members are more concerned with lecture attendance than interactive learning. Also, the curriculum could benefit from an update, as it has not caught up with the current industry standards and feels a bit outdated.

Reality of college life in Greater Noida.

Placements: Last year, 4 students got placed for 49 LPA packages by Autodesk and one bought Juspay for 27 LPA. Later on, the packages vary from 4 LPA to 12 LPA. Most of the roles are software developer and some other skill-based jobs. Most of the companies offer internships followed by placement offers.

Infrastructure: College is divided into 6 blocks, each has different departments. CSE block is good but the other only has good labs. Classrooms need development plus there are no smart boards as well as projectors are rarely used for study. Overall, infrastructure is average and has scope for improvement.

Faculty: Since our college is affiliated with AKTU. They are still using that outdated curriculum and adaptation of modern teaching techniques is required like hands-on industry skills and knowledge that help students in real world. The bookish old-school knowledge is only memorized for exams.

Other: All things aside, our college hosts most events throughout the year. Students get a chance to shine and enjoy campus life better than at any college in Greater Noida. Exposure to college life is good.

Computer Science and Allied Branches GCET.

Placements: Very good placement as compared to other colleges in AKTU; average placement is 4-6 LPA.; the highest placement in 2023 was 39 LPA.; and in the ongoing placement sessions, 21 LPA. is the highest. Companies like Amazon, Adobe, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Autodesk visit the campus regularly.

Infrastructure: Average infrastructure: with a campus size of only 20 acres, there is a playground, a central library, 5 academic blocks, a boys and girls hostel, an auditorium, and tennis and basketball courts all on those 20 acres. The labs are equipped with the latest systems, and there is also a well-maintained digital library.

Faculty: Faculty is good they force you to study for exams, although most of the faculty just forces you to attend the lectures; there are 8 lectures in a day. If you are unable to meet the criteria of 75 percent attendance, a letter will be dispatched to your home. Syllabus is also lagging behind, like 20 years ago, from industry standards.

My college teachers because there are very few teachers here who have come from the industry.

Placements: The truth is that all the colleges in Greater Noida are in the same situation. In the name of placement, only 10-12 students from the entire batch get placed. Galgotia College is also one of them. Overall, you can take admission, but you will have to make a little more effort for placement.

Infrastructure: In this case, the college is in the best location, it is connected to the metro, so the infrastructure is much better than other colleges in Greater NoidaThe rest of the ground, the canteen, everything else is really good, there is a lot of space for playing games.

Faculty: If we look at the overall some teachers give their 110% to the students. There are some teachers everywhere who do not feel like studying at all, you will find many such teachers here too, the rest of the main management is fine, it takes care of the well-being of the children.

Other: The crowd is fine but campus life is the best here without any doubt.

Review of Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Around 82% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is 26 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. The average package ranges from 10-15 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys, Wipro, and Tata. Roles like analyst and junior engineer are offered here. Students get placed in many companies like TCS, Eveready, and Microsoft. More roles like technical analysts are offered here.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is wonderful. Labs are well-equipped, and classrooms are well-structured. Our library is now a standout among other colleges as there is everything we need as college students whether it is labs, classrooms, or it is about the library instead of the case.

Faculty: Teachers are wonderful as well as qualified and knowledgeable, which makes their teaching more interesting. The course curriculum is definitely relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are not so much difficult if we are constant learners. We just have to hit topics and practice the questions.

Other: For my course, it is the need of the semiconductor world and I'm eager to contribute towards it also through AI. There are so many fests, Bootcamps and hackathons happening.

One of the top universities.

Placements: Students will be eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. During the summer break, the college conducts training boot camps in which only campus selection preparations are taught. Many companies like Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, and Accenture take online tests and select students who perform well. Most students get placed in companies through campus selection only. One student received a package of 17 LPA last year after being placed at Amazon. The college doesn't provide many internship opportunities and doesn't care about the internship aspect. Students have to make efforts and secure internships on their own; the college is not responsible for this.

Infrastructure: The library of this college is well-maintained, and you will find all the necessary books. There are two libraries in the college, both well-furnished and peaceful for study. The classrooms are large, but there are no air conditioning facilities, which makes the classrooms very hot and humid in the summer. The classrooms have four fans, and the computer labs also lack AC, making the labs quite hot. There are various clubs for students run by club members, who conduct workshops that benefit students. The boys' hostel is on campus, but the girls' hostel is in an old building of the college at Galgotias College; a bus will be provided. The rooms are big and ventilated, with a mess, game area, and gym. The food is freshly prepared with a variety of vegetables and fruits.

Faculty: All the important chapters will be covered in each semester, and you will not find any difficulties in understanding them. Initially, you will be taught advanced topics that you studied in the 11th and 12th grades, and then the programming part will be taught from the basics. Not all faculty members are experienced, but some are very good. They have excellent knowledge and the ability to teach students effectively. These teachers explain concepts clearly, making it easier for students to understand. The examination process is similar to other colleges. You will have 3 CAT (Continuous Assessment Test) tests and 1 term exam in each semester. CAT is worth 30 marks, while the End-Term Exam (ETE) is worth 100 marks. The difficulty level is not too high; it's related to the syllabus and is understandable. The teacher-student ratio is 2:4. The teachers are well qualified and hold Ph.D. degrees from IITs and NITs. The best faculty for DSA in B.Tech is Dr. Shubhash Chandra, and the dean is very cooperative with students. Teachers provide notes on every topic and offer extra help. We have 2 mid-term exams for 50 marks each and 1 final exam for 100 marks, along with 2 internal assessments worth 25 marks each.
