My experience at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Average package at Galgotia is 5.5 LPA, and the highest is 60 LPA. Companies that visit include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, and sometimes Zomato. The lowest package is around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with smartboards and Wi-Fi. It makes learning easy and understandable. The library offers a huge collection of books, journals, and resources. They provide students with an excellent learning environment. Overall, the experience is really good. The hostel is good. The building is quite old, but the rooms are manageable. Food is good, provided by Sodexo. The canteen, sports, and games facilities are very good.
Faculty: All faculty members are highly qualified Ph.D. holders who teach with great clarity. The curriculum is well-structured and focused on relevant topics. Semesters are not very tough. The pass percentage remains around 80–90%. Overall, everything is well-maintained.
Other: I chose this course because this field is trending and has the scope of becoming a data engineer. It includes coding. Fests are not frequent, which allows us to focus on studies. This is the best thing about Galgotia, which makes it the best in Greater Noida, because the return on investment is very good. Fees are very low compared to other colleges in Greater Noida.

Good infrastructure and supportive faculty with decent campus life.
Placements: The overall students' placement rate is 86 percent for 2024, with the highest package of 44 LPA, and the average package offered is 6 LPA. CSE Data Science students at GCET mostly get placed in software & analytics roles with strong participation from IT companies like Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Amazon, Airtel, Tech Mahindra, TCS, etc. Around 70 percent+ students secure Internships, and 70 to 86 percent get placed, which varies by year.
Infrastructure: GCET has strong academic facilities with good Wi-Fi, AC-enabled smart classrooms and modern computer labs. Hostels are well-maintained, and vending machines are available on campus, though the mess food is average. Sports facilities and medical support are available, but they are not a major highlight of the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are generally qualified, helpful and knowledgeable, though teaching quality may vary between faculty members. The course curriculum is relevant and supports industry skills, but students need extra practical learning on their own for better readiness. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and the pass percentage is around 90 percent, so regular study is enough to score well.
Other: I chose B.Tech CSE as I am passionate about coding and technology, and it offers great career opportunities. The course has good placements, supportive faculty and many practical learning opportunities like hackathons and teach fests. Lab facilities and industry exposure can be improved. The campus has a friendly crowd, enjoyable events, excellent connectivity, scholarships and active clubs and sports, making the college experience enjoyable and balanced.

Absolutely satisfied with this college.
Placements: There are 200 students in the first year of the Data Science programme. The average salary is between 4 and 5 LPA per annum. Mass recruiter companies like Capgemini, Cognizant, and TCS are coming to the college. You work hard to get a placement. Around 80 per cent of students are placed this year.
Infrastructure: All the basic facilities are provided in the college. All classrooms are fully AC and all are in good condition. All types of labs are present in college, and all the labs have equipment. There are many computer labs in the college. And I am not in the hostel, so I don't know the hostel very well.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified and experienced, and they are very helpful. And you study the syllabus of AKTU. The sessional exams are not very tough if you study, and you can easily pass. The sessional exam is 40 marks and is held twice in one semester.
Other: There are many clubs in our college. If fresher want to join, they contact seniors, and many sports activities are held in college. There are many events happening in the college.

Placements: In my college, overall placements are good. Many students got placed till last year. The average package ranges from 4-7 LPA and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The highest package ranges from 35-60 LPA. Top recruiting companies also visit the college, like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. Many students also got internships through college according to their capabilities. The college placement cell also helps students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology is the best, according to me, compared to overall engineering colleges. The college provides the best facilities with well-maintained equipment in labs and well-occupied space. The college hostel also provides good facilities. The mess is good. It also provides medical facilities to students. Our college gives the best opportunities for sports students with fully supportive coaches and provides well-maintained equipment. It gave many chances to students to show their capability.
Faculty: According to my experience, faculty members are the very best, well-educated,, and qualified in my college. They help us a lot in study and also help in other curriculum activities. They are very supportive and support students a lot in study. If any student has doubts about the subject, they also solve their problem after classes in their cabins. Semester exams in this college are average. If students only focus in class, then they can easily pass exams. The pass percentage is 40% approximately.
Other: I chose this course because of my personal interest. The best thing about my course is that in this course there are many opportunities like data analytics, data science, and development. Events in this college are best which are organised by the college. It also organises many fests like a fresher party, Dandiya night, unfest, and many seasonal fests in which many singers and influencers come for the performance. Scholarships are also provided by the UP government and some private scholarship committees. The college also provides many chances for students for extracurricular activities.

High and low at Galgotia.
Placements: The highest package in our college is around 50-60 LPA. The average package is around 7-8 LPA. Many people don't even sit for placements as they have other plans like higher education or business. The placement percentage is around 70 -80%. Mostly companies that visit us are mass recruiters.
Infrastructure: Facilities that are provided to us are minimal. As we are in the first year, classrooms are also like the same ones in school but we will get better ones in our second year. Our labs are not bad. The college hostel is good but I don't know many things about it as first-year students do not easily get it.
Faculty: In our college, the course curriculum is pretty basic but after the placement of the director, some changes are being made. The teaching methods are old-fashioned but are improving day by day. The good thing is that teachers also teach us any topic from 0 meaning any type of student can understand it.
Other: I chose this course as I want to become a data scientist in future. My rank is not so good, so I chose this college. It is a decent one as the fee is low compared to others. It arranges many events and fests, so it is a good choice.
