Preference will be given to candidates qualified in GATE in the relevant branch based on their test scores and the remaining seats with the candidates qualified in APPGECET as per their merit ranks. Final year student can also apply, provided they have completed the prescribed course and passed all the subjects for the award of degree by the concerned university on or before the date of counselling. |

Dissatisfied due to lack of teaching staff.
Placements: More than 30% were placed and the highest salary offered was of 3 Lacs per annum. More than 60% students got internship in our course in many of the companies and most of the students got placed in big basket, Amazon, and one out classmate got appointed in TATA.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in our college classrooms somewhat better and we don't even have proper equipment in lab and the students are not Allowed to do practicals. Coming to the facilities in our hostel it was waste of all your money, the food was very stale and unclean.
Faculty: Teaches are not helpful and they don't even know the subject and they can't even teach the topic briefly as they are appointed after the completion of the same course the very next year from the same college.
I think None of our batch mates were ready for the industry as we're not done any of our practicals during our course period.
Other: I was very passionate in mechanics so choose it. During my whole course period there were no events and extracurricular activities happened in our college.

This is an average rated college.
Placements: The placements in the college are good. Last year, around 35% of the students got placed on the campus placements. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 40,000 per month, the lowest was Rs. 8,000 per month and the average was Rs. 15,000 per month. Not all but some companies visited the campus for placements. They offered software designer, analyser, etc., roles to placed students. Of course, there is a placement cell in our college, and it is good.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility and labs are good. The computer lab is well-built, chemistry lab is smelly, physics lab is always empty, and communication lab is free as we can use it at any time. First desk is very good and hard. As how hard we shake it remains stay and calm like a bomb.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and give their best for the students to get good results. Everyone is friendly except 1st-year faculty members as they are a little harsh. Overall, the faculty members are the best.
Other: Engineers day, teachers day, freshers, and farewell day are the most awaited events in our college.

Placements: GIST provides more than ten placements for every stream in B.Tech and M.Tech. Many companies visited the college and took the students with placements opportunity with a huge salary, and Gandhiji Institute of Science and Technology has the very experienced faculty with high qualifications, and the management is very sincere to make decisions about the placements.
Infrastructure: Gandhiji Institute of Science and Technology affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and is located near Jaggaiahpeta, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. It has a great infrastructure, and it has individual classes for every stream. GIST college is having B.Tech, M.Tech, and also MBA.
Faculty: GIST has some faculty with high educational qualifications and knowledge. They were helpful for every student and are qualified. They were having more useful teaching methods for the students, and especially the ECE HOD and faculty are good.
Other: GIST sponsored a huge number of national, local, regional, inter-college, and intra-college events. Fests, games, sports, college-wide competitions, etc. are also conducted in the college.

Dissatisfied with the college environment and the faculty.
Placements: There is no question of placements in this college, especially for the mechanical engineering department, but for the other branches, some companies have been recruited a few students that too with a low package. The training has to improve in the institute.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus was average and need to improve. The labs in the department of mechanical engineering were not good, and we can't observe the fully equipped machines and instruments in the lab. It has to improve in this department of mechanical engineering.
Faculty: The faculty members were average, student-friendly, and they teach us in a student-friendly manner. Their qualification in the field was not up to the mark, and it needs to be increased. The quality of teaching was good. There are more number of experienced faculty members on the campus.
Other: The less chance of conducting all the fests and the other events in the department are good in the college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.
Placements: During the period of our seniors, they had a quite good number of placements. Later on during our final year, the number of placements reduced. During our time, most of the companies in campus placement drive are BPO companies with less than 1,80,000 per year.
Infrastructure: Our college had a good infrastructure with quite good number of computers in computer lab, and highly equipped machine labs, circuit labs and well designed exam halls. Good hostel and canteen facility are available. College's main building is constructed in square shape so that each corner is visible from the principal room.
Faculty: Our college humanity and sciences department had a highly experienced faculty. Even other departments have good faculty but most of them are not highly experienced. Averagely, we have two college fests every year and good welcome party for freshers and send off party of seniors.

Satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2013 and infrastructure.
Placements: 100 percentage of students placed in my course and the highest package is 8 lacs and the lowest package is 4 lacs and average percentage is 3 lacs.
Dell, H.P. and Philips companies are the top recruiting companies.
70 percentage of students got internship from Philips company.
Best and very interesting course.
Infrastructure: My college facilities are good and infrastructure also. Library is very big. Classrooms and labs are the best.
Hostel food is very tasty. Good food, Wi-Fi facility, canteen, medical is also good. Sports and games are also good.
Faculty: My teachers teaching quality is very good.
All students go for industry trip every 2 months like power plants and cement factory.
Other: Government jobs are available for such course.
Campus, scholarship and extracurricular activities are good.
