Our college is well-maintained and has good environment.
Placements: The average salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Wipro, Tata, etc. Students who scored 9.8 CGPA were eligible for internships. The stipend offered was Rs 15,000 per month. Few students got internships at Tata and banks.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were good. Our campus was Wi-Fi enabled. Washing machines were also available. The food quality was decent. Medical facilities were provided. Our campus had good environment. The hostel surrounding is peaceful.
Faculty: Our college was very strict in making students pass out. They teach everything to students. The pass criterion was 9.8 CGPA. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Events and fests were conducted in this college.

Scholarships :
The following scholarships are available to the students according to their eligibility i.e, SC, ST , BC ,EBC,Minority, Disabled & Merit students. Scholarships as per the government rules stipulated for meritorious candidates.
According to Govt. G.O. No.90, the student should have at least 75% of attendance other wise principal has the right to cancel the scholarships.

Gauthami Degree College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.Sc. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised school/board. |
| M.Sc. | Candidates must have completed B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry subject as an optional with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute . Candidate must have studied Chemistry at least four papers of 100 marks each. OR Candidates who have completed B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry subject as an optional and must have studied a minimum of 30 credits in Chemistry. A pass in the Qualifying Examination is sufficient for SC/ST candidates. The candidates passing the examination compartmentally and securing required percentage of marks or equivalent CGPA are also eligible. |
