B.E in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.6
4Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Good placements and supportive faculty, but it needs better facilities.
Placements: Our batch at GIT Khed had around 80–85% placements. The highest package was 7 LPA, with an average of 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and Gharda Chemicals recruited. About half got internships in firms like L&T and Persistent. College is good overall.
Infrastructure: Our department has decent classrooms, Wi-Fi, computer labs, and a good library. The hostel is average. The rooms are fine, but the mess food can be better. The canteen is okay, and basic medical help is available. The college supports sports with ground and indoor games, and many others.
Faculty: Teachers at GIT are supportive and knowledgeable; teaching quality is good. The curriculum is updated and useful for industry skills. Semester exams are moderate, and sessional exams are also not too tough if you study well. The passing percentage is usually higher, around 85–90%.
Other: I picked engineering at GIT Khed to build my career. Teachers and seniors are really helpful, and college fests and sports are fun. The location is far, so travel is tough. The labs and Wi-Fi arena aren't great, and hostel food could be much better.

Review of Gharda Institute of Technology.
Placements: Almost 20% were placed in my course. The highest package is 1 LPA, the lowest may be Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 30,000, and the average is Rs. 40,000. Many companies come to my college for recruitment, but mostly the company Infosys is at the top. Around 40% of students got internships at Infosys. Top roles offered are graphic and web development.
Infrastructure: To be honest, the canteen is the worst. Wi-Fi works sometimes well, not always. Classrooms are good, and the library has all the books available, so we can study. I am not in a hostel, but my friends told me that hostel facilities are good. The mess food is good.
Faculty: Teachers provide good and interactive teaching. The majority of students are ready for such a course, to be honest, and students work hard for their exams. If we study, then it's not hard; the difficult level, I would say, is 80% easy, and the pass percentage is around 65%.
Other: I chose computer engineering because I love computers, how they are made, etc. Events are conducted a lot, and it's also fun to attend.

B.E in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.2
2Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
It is well-rounded college with supportive faculty, decent placements, but needs industry alignment.
Placements: The placement rate at GIT B.Tech in Computer Engineering (Batch 2023-24) was 68-80%, with 129 out of 190 registrants placed in 2022-23. Some student reviews mentioned 80-85%. The highest package is 7 LPA, and some sources say up to 9 LPA. Q&A mentioned 8-12 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 3.0 LPA, with a 3-year average of 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters on campus in core IT are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, Just Dial, RSquareSoft, eClinicalWorks, Faurecia, HUL, and KPIT. Domain-based recruiters include Gharda Chemical, Laxmi Organics, Red Hat, Eleation, and ACTY Systems.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is secure and campus-wide, covering classrooms, labs, hostels, and the library. 1 Gbps backbone supports the wired LAN in computer labs and faculty offices. There are multiple labs, which have a seating of 30-40 students each, and modern PCs, with Intel i5/i7 or equivalent, 8-16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD. There is a specialized setup, including a networking lab with routers/firewalls, IoT/embedded systems, graphics and multimedia lab, and a mobile app development lab. The electronics and hardware lab is equipped with FPGA/Arduino kits, circuit boards, oscilloscopes, and signal generators, enabling hands-on embedded systems and hardware interacting projects. There is an extensive collection of CSE textbooks, references, journals, and e-Journals such as IEEE and ACM. There are hostels for boys and girls. The rooms accommodate 2-4 students per room, with furnished beds, study tables, fans, and some rooms have AC.
Faculty: It highlights that the teachers explain concepts clearly, provide notes, and actively engage students through industrial visits and seminars to bolster learning. The curriculum includes practical elements, with some updates made post-2019 to align with industry needs. However, it is noted that it provides an average understanding, rather than fully preparing students for industry entry. As with many tier-3 colleges, graduating students emphasize that individual effort, especially in coding and problem-solving, is essential for truly becoming industry-ready.
Other: I chose Computer Engineering for its future scope and innovation potential. The best part is strong faculty, decent labs, and practical exposure. Improvements needed in advanced tech modules and internship support. The campus hosts fests, clubs, and is peaceful, but is slightly remote. Connectivity is improving, and scholarships are merit-based.

Excellent faculty members and good facilities.
Placements: At our college, most of the students get placed in companies like TCS, Glitz, etc. Around 70-80% of students get campus placement. The highest package in our college is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Gharda Chemical, Gemini, and more. 50% of students got internships in some good companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in the college are excellent, like Wi-Fi, student library, labs, and top-notch classrooms, including the facility to 3D print any object you want, as the 3D printer is available in our department. The mess in the hostel is excellent; sometimes it's good, but most of the time, there is no question about the mess. Medical facilities are available, and sports and games are available to play. The gym is also available.
Faculty: Teaching quality of our department is so good, I would say excellent, and the faculty members are very helpful to students. I guess the course doesn't make the student fully prepared for the industry, but it provides an average understanding of the industry. The passing percentage is around 90-95%..
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in mechanical engineering. The best thing about my course is the practical plan, which is very good for students. I guess they have to improve the curriculum for the course, as it doesn't make students industry-ready.

B.E in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2024
4.4

It's a good college. All the necessary facilities are available.
Placements: During my B.E. in Computer Engineering (graduating in 2024), many companies conducted placement drives (both virtual and offline) at our college. Some students secured placements in companies like TCS, Hexaware Technologies, and RSquareSoft Technologies. The average salary package ranged between 2.5-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Computer Engineering Department has several labs with computers equipped with relevant software. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, whiteboards (in some classrooms), and sufficient benches for students. College campus also has a canteen providing food at decent prices.
Faculty: Teachers and professors are well-qualified in their respective fields. They are always supportive of both academic and extracurricular activities. Teaachers motivates and guides students on how to improve their skill sets and become industry-ready. Examinations are conducted fairly. Course alone may not be enough for securing a placement. Students may need to invest extra time in external courses or internships to become industry-ready.
Other: College organizes various events such as hackathons, sports, annual gatherings, and tech festivals/competitions, where students can participate and showcase their talents. Scholarship schemes are available for students. Campus is clean and well-maintained. College is located in a rural area, which might be some inconvenience to reach it. However, the college provides a bus facility for students from nearby cities and towns.

This institute provides many good scores in CET. Those students were also eligible for scholarships.
Placements: There were not enough students placed, and the companies that did interview students on campus conducted additional interviews at their company. After that, the company told the student that they would work with the company for six months without pay, and then the company would decide whether to hire them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at this institute is good. It has free Wi-Fi, and the labs are well-equipped and were recently modified. The library is great and a student-friendly place. There are separate rooms for girls and boys to study. There is also a counseling room where the counselor can help us with our problems.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and understanding, and they helped me a lot with my practical work and projects. They also mentored us to help us find the best path for our career.
Other: Many events are organized by student associations. A two-day dandiya event was organized. Recently, a hackathon was conducted. A two-day shodh event is organized every year. Synergy is also organized. If the student coordinator had good convincing skills, the event was organized.
