Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission.

B.E. / B.Tech

Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to, from a recognised Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible. Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2023). There is no upper age limit.

It is not that good to study civil engineering at GIET College of Engineering.

Placements: Every year, nearly 60% of the students were placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Courses like M.Tech, B.Tech, MBA, are offered for students. Campus placements training also will be provided to students. Students who are trying to join in a good college, this will be your the best choice.

Infrastructure: For the civil branch, there are no facilities. Students are taken to another college for using equipment of civil labs. Quality of the hostel is nice, and the food is served in the hostel is healthy and hygiene. Special mention for sports because they encourage you for cricket and tennis. The canteen offers a lot of Chinese and Indian, which is not hygienic and these are called as CFC, i.e., Central Food Court.

Faculty: They are less qualified when compared with other colleges and not experienced at teaching. So-called professors are not there in this college. The pattern of this college is even the worst than any other college. Those who passed out of this college didn't have any practical knowledge. Moreover, make sure that you should be able to ask teachers and management for better lessons and libraries.

This is the best college in Andhra Pradesh, with highly knowledgeable faculty members.

Placements: Almost 95% of students are placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. There are top recruiting companies like Amazon and Wiley Edge. Around 60% of students got internships from CSE at HCL. The top roles are SDET and software engineer.

Infrastructure: The food served in the hostels is hygienic and tasty. Washrooms are very neat and hygienic.

Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. They are highly knowledgeable. They are certified. They teach every subject in a detailed manner. They are encouraging. If there are any doubts, they will clear them. They guide us to our goals. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult. The pass rate is 90%.

Many sports tournaments are played in our college.

Placements: A lot of students join civil engineering every year because of their interest in the construction field. The average salary is 15k, the lowest salary 10k and the highest salary is 25k. In the last 3 years many construction companies came to our college.

Infrastructure: In college Wi-Fi, Labs and Library are available. The canteen, medical facilities, sports and games are very interesting. Many tournaments are played in our college like Nadu and district level. The college students have taken part in the tournaments and won a lot of matches.

Faculty: The faculty is very caring. The teaching quality is amazing. The course curriculum is useful and easy to learn and it makes the students ready for the industry.

Other: I love construction, travelling and irrigation that's why I chose the Civil engineering. Civil engineering is the first foundation of everything for Human beings like Roadways, water resources, Railway, construction and Airways. We celebrate a lot of fests in our college like, MITRI.
