On Fees and Eligibility
Q:   How many marks are required for MCA at Aditya Engineering College?
A:

Candidates must have graduated in computer applications, computer science, or a related field with a minimum of 50% aggregate in order to be admitted to the MCA program at Aditya Engineering College. You also need to qualify for the APICET exam and participate in the counselling process. The cutoff for the MCA course varies every year depending on the number of applicants, seats available, difficulty level of the exam, etc.

Q:   Can I get admission in Aditya Engineering College for B.Tech with 60% in Class 12th?
A:

Unfortunately, it's difficult to predict your chances of admission into Aditya Engineering College for B.Tech. solely based on your 60% in Class 12. While this score is decent, several factors influence the selection process, making it more nuanced than just marks. Here's a breakdown of what might play a role:

Entrance Exams:

  • Most engineering colleges in India require applicants to score well in national or state-level entrance exams like JEE Main or WBJEE. Check if Aditya Engineering College considers these exams and what the minimum cut-off scores are for your desired B.Tech. program. Aiming for scores above the cut-off will strengthen your application.

Other Selection Criteria:

  • Some colleges might have additional selection criteria like personal interviews, group discussions, or weighting for specific subjects in 12th grade, like mathematics or physics. Research the specific selection process of Aditya Engineering College to understand what other factors they consider.

Reservation and Quota Seats:

  • Depending on your caste, gender, or disability status, you might be eligible for reservation or quota seats, potentially lowering the required score for admission. Familiarize yourself with the college's reservation policies and utilize them if applicable.

Program Availability and Competition:

  • The specific B.Tech. programme you choose can also impact your chances. Popular programs might have higher cut-off scores and more competition compared to less in-demand ones. Consider your interests and research the competition levels for the different programs offered by Aditya Engineering College.

Overall Profile:

  • While marks are crucial, colleges often look at the applicant's holistic profile. Extracurricular activities, achievements in olympiads or competitions, relevant work experience, and strong recommendation letters can add value to your application and potentially compensate for slightly lower marks.

Reach out to the college:

  • Don't hesitate to contact the admissions department of Aditya Engineering College directly. They can provide the most up-to-date information on admission requirements, specific weights for different factors, and guidance on strengthening your application.

Remember, a 60% in Class 12 doesn't necessarily close the door on your B.Tech. aspirations. By understanding the selection process, strategically preparing for entrance exams, and highlighting your strengths, you can still increase your chances of securing admission into Aditya Engineering College.

Q:   Which entrance exam scores does Aditya Engineering College accept for admission to MBA?
A:

Aditya Engineering College offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme, and to gain admission, candidates need to take one of the following entrance exams:

  • CAT (Common Admission Test): This is a national-level exam conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and is considered the most prestigious entrance exam for MBA programmes in India. A good score on the CAT will definitely give you a strong edge in the selection process at Aditya Engineering College.

  • MAT (Management Aptitude Test): This is another popular national-level MBA entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). Compared to CAT, MAT is generally considered slightly easier, but it's still a competitive exam.

  • XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test): This is an entrance exam conducted by the Xavier School of Management (XLRI) in Jamshedpur. It's a computer-based test that focusses on verbal and data interpretation skills, along with quantitative ability.

  • GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test): This is an internationally standardised test widely accepted by business schools worldwide, including some in India. If students are considering applying to other universities abroad in the future, the GMAT could be a good option.

  • CMAT (Common Management Admission Test): This is a national-level exam conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It's a relatively new exam compared to the others, but it's gaining popularity as it's specifically designed for MBA admissions in India.

  • ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions): This is another national-level MBA entrance exam conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). It's a computer-based test that focusses on verbal ability, reading comprehension, data interpretation, and logical reasoning.

  • APICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test): This is a state-level exam conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions to MBA and MCA programs in various universities and colleges in Andhra Pradesh. If students are Andhra Pradesh residents, APICET could be a good option.

Review of Aditya Engineering College.
Placements: The percentage of getting placement for my course is 85%. The highest package is 24 LPA and the average package offered is 5 LPA. The top companies recruiting are Flipkart, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The percentage of getting an internship is 70%.
Infrastructure: College is looking very good. Each department has its own department. No Wi-Fi college provides, labs are good, and classrooms are good. In a library, there are all types of books. Hostel facilities are good. Mess is good. In college, we have two canteens, good medical, and sports facilities.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Teachers are mostly very experienced. Teachers are helpful to students. If you have any doubts. All teachers are like Masters, Ph.D. The course is relevant to hardware not an industry field. Semester exams are moderate. The percentage of passing for my course is 85%.

Aditya Engineering College.
Placements: In my college, 30% of students are in the EEE department. The highest package is 13 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is about 4-5 LPA. The top companies in Andhra Pradesh are giving job opportunities in my department. The students who are mostly interested are going for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is somewhat good, but not bad. We have good classrooms and hostel rooms for long-distance students. Some labs with well-equipped requirements. We have a small library with central AC. We have some canteens for both students. We have a medical clinic and an everyday sports class.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are very qualified. Their teaching quality is so good, and they are very knowledgeable. They have so many years of experience. This course is somewhat relevant to industry management. This course is very convenient for all students. The semester exams are conducted every two months. The question papers are very moderate.

It is very good to join.
Placements: Everything is good. Average placements are being held, and as per 2024 placements, we are hearing good hiring before the year and this year too. Expecting this year to be a good placement for our batch and the seniors' batches, too, depending on our performances.
Infrastructure: As I'm a day scholar, I don't know about hostel infrastructure, but as I heard, it is average to stay there. Some labs are comfortable with air conditioners, but some don't have AC, which is very uncomfortable to study in a close room.
Faculty: Good faculty with a good curriculum. Exam courses are great for better preparation for courses as per the curriculum in the semester-wise subjects. Exams are being held time to time and marks are being awarded as per students performance by assignments and seminars by students marks were being awarded.
Other: Most of students joined this year, and the crowd is heavy as students are more around the campus in break times, also campus life will be crazily good.

Think again before you join.
Placements: In my department, placements are less when compared to other branches, but we have many Japan placements. Not most but some of the people get selected for Japan MNCs as most of them are from EEE and ECE. Other companies are TCS, Walmart, Infosys, Tata, etc. Our department is mainly focused on international placements.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good. Aditya maintains highly infrastructure labs and classrooms. It has very hi-tech digital classrooms with Wi-Fi facilities in every classrooms. It has very good lab equipment, very good benches, and good infrastructure. There are many separate blocks for every branch. Hostel facilities are very good. Medical facility is also there for hostel students.
Faculty: Some of our faculty members are very good at teaching, but some are not well-trained. They teach by only using power points (like by scrolling the slides on board). But some faculty members are very good at using board and their teaching lectures are well. But the main problem is only with lab techniques. They have no teaching skills and they are not even eligible as technique too but act like a main faculty.
Other: The best thing in my course is international placement. The worst thing is writing records and observations. The content is same but writing the same content twice is a useless thing, this must change in my college. There is only 1 fest in our college which is celebrated every year compulsorily, that is Veda.

Best place to connect with different kinds of people.
Placements: VSLI/chip design engineer, embedded system enhancement, network engineer, telecom engineer, IoT specialists, robotics engineer, software developer, and research associate are the roles offered in ECE, and there are other roles that can be taken in the other courses.
Infrastructure: The quality of food is excellent, and it's very nice when coming to facilities 24X7. All services are available like hot water/cold water to drink. The hostel surroundings are very good and give you a good vibe. It must be very nice to go out to places.
Faculty: The semester exams are very difficult in our college. I chose a difficult course, so the semester exams are strict. The pass percentage is very good. The papers are very difficult, and to pass it's okay but to get high percentage it's too difficult.
Other: In our college, they celebrate every festival. They conduct more events, and scholarships are available in our college. The campus crowd is more, and they connect to each other very fast.
