Kakinada Engineering College Life.

Placements: Students are eligible from 3rd year 2nd semester for placements. Some companies like Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Microsoft, Accenture, Deloitte, etc., visit the college. The highest salary package offered is 31 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.01 LPA. Around 40-60% of students get placed. After this degree, students can work in software companies.

Infrastructure: My hostel facility is very good compared to other college hostels. It provides a locker for each student with a bed, cart, and pillow to accommodate the hostel. We have to enroll our name in the student section office which in held in college premises. The hostel is full of security. It is good to live a peaceful life.

Faculty: 1st year has subjects the same as all branches. From the 2nd year, they include all subjects related to artificial intelligence and data science. There are subjects like data science, artificial intelligence, statistical methods, advanced data structure, etc. The approach of the faculty is good. They give some advice to students to improve themselves. The college conducts placement training programs from the 2nd year which make students improve themselves.

College is much satisfying because faculty, good placements, and infrastructure are good.

Placements: College placement is good. They get companies like Accenture, Inry, Avya, and many more. They have collaborated with IIIT Hyderabad, so students are getting internship opportunities from there. After that, IIIT H is providing full-time opportunities as well. Overall, it was good.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. In present times, they have developed the infrastructure very well. The college has a robotics lab, Khub, SCB, and many more. All the classrooms are well-furnished. The hostel is good, and the food is also nice. In college, there are NCC, NSS, and medical facilities available.

Faculty: Teachers in this college are very helpful and highly qualified. Their teaching is very good. All the teachers are friendly, and they help the students in all aspects. They encourage the students. The course curriculum is good. Semester exams are not that difficult; if you learn the subject, it will be easy for you, and the pass percentage is above 70.

Other: I am a 2024 pass-out, and my branch is Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Overall, my college life is good, and the events, fests, and everything were enjoyable.

Our college has a green campus and great faculty and provides successful careers.

Placements: In our batch, around 70-100% of students got placed in companies. The highest salary package offered is 8.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.7 LPA. Many top companies visited our college like Accenture, Miracle, Inry, etc. Some students got internships at IIT Hyderabad.

Infrastructure: In our college, we used to practice coding in labs. We have a library to read books and take home. We have access to the library through an ID card. Our classrooms are very neat. Our college is full of trees around it. The only problem is the Wi-Fi signal. It is very low. It makes very trouble to code and practice.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very helpful and supportive. They make students feel free with them. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They clear our doubts and make students prepare well for exams. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for the future. In semester exams, we have to study well every day and night. Our faculty members engage with students to clarify doubts at any time. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: I chose an artificial intelligence and data science course because it has more future scope. I am interested in it. In our college, our management celebrates fests and events and invites celebrities. We celebrate freshers' parties for our juniors to welcome them. Our juniors provide our farewell party at the end. In a week, many events are held. In our college, so many clubs are available like GCC, KHUB, Toastmasters, NSS, Navy, and NCC.

KIET FUN AND FRUSTRATION

Placements: In this college, placements are not there for my batch 2024 students placements 70% are there but in my batch, only 20% of the highest package (11 LPA) and the lowest package (2.5 LPA) are there this year because of recession. Their job was to offer internships for my batch.

Infrastructure: In our college, facilities are good. The high classrooms are okay. The library is super peaceful, so we read so peacefully. In the hostel, we have free Wi-Fi, water facilities daily, snacks, a ground, and 4 TVs. The doctor will be available. Games are there, and tournaments will keep us entertained. The food is average: weekly, 2 times chicken, weekly, once a week, fish.

Faculty: In the Kiet college, faculty will be available. Faculty are from the Talentio,IBM team. They are highly talented people. They will give teaching very well. Daily seminars will be conducted by them. The semester exams will be conducted by JNTUK Jumbling colleges. The pass percentage will be 70%.

Other: I chose this course because the future of AI is here, and my parents also said to take this course. We have AI and DS; we have to study hard for the future. Events will be held every year, 2 to 3 times, at a hackathon. NCC and NSS are available. A freshers party and farewell party will also be held. The college is near Kakinada.

Satisfied in my department.

Placements: There are several students placed in multi-national companies. The most positive thing is that several things, like internships and full-time jobs, are provided by IIT-Hyderabad. Many students are placed at IIT-Hyderabad as research engineers, etc.; in college placements, the top recruiters are TCs and Accenture, etc. .

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the departments is good. On campus, Wi-Fi is available. And labs are quite good, and libraries and classrooms have good infrastructure maintained by college management. The quality of the hostel is good, the food quality in the mess for hostelers is also good, and for students on the college campus, the food items are of good quality in the canteen, and several items are there for students in the college canteen. Doctors are available in hostels, so there is no problem for students with their health issues.

Faculty: Teachers in college are helpful to understand studies; there is good faculty and also qualified. The quality of teaching is good. In my course, the curriculum of this course is absolutely relevant. And it makes students ready for the industries. The sophomore exams in this college are a little tough because it is affiliated with JNTU Kakinda. The pass percentage is nearly 80%. .
