It's not a bad college to study at, but many facilities can be improved.
Placements: B.Sc. Forensic Science is the best course in GIET Degree College. 45 percent of students get placed at our college. The course of forensic Science recruitment is taken by the central laboratories. The top roles offered in forensic science are the fingerprint examination and testing of biological evidence, such as blood, semen, etc. It plays a great role in suspicion.
Infrastructure: In the GIET Degree College, more developed equipment is used for testing or analysis. Classrooms, library, and labs are very hygienic. The infrastructure is good. Moreover, the environment of GIET Degree College is very peaceful and noiseless. It is very good for health. More facilities are provided in the college. It has well-developed medical facilities with educated and trained doctors. Sports are also very good in college.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly. They guide students in a good manner. Teachers must be qualified with an M.Sc. Forensic Science or PhD in Forensic Science. Semester exams are conducted in our college very strictly. It follows rules and order by the principal mam. The pass percentage is good in our college, and it is about 70 percent.
Other: Forensic Science is a very interesting course. I chose this course because I'm very interested in learning about things in the field of forensic science. The best things in our course are solving crimes based on the analysis of biological evidence, which is admissible in courtrooms. Fests, events, campus crowd, and extracurricular activities are very good in our college. Telugu Mahasabhalu is a very wonderful festival that should be conducted every year in the college.

Good academics and supportive faculty members, but needs improvement in placements.
Placements: At my college, placement rates vary by stream-up to 95% in mechanical and around 85-90% in CSE, though some batches report as low as 12%. The highest package reaches around 17 LPA. The average is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra are top recruiters. While infrastructure and faculty members are strong, consistent internship support and selective placements are concerns.
Infrastructure: The department offers decent infrastructure with well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, campus Wi-Fi, and a good library-though lab systems can sometimes be outdated. Hostels provide basic facilities but the food quality in the mess and canteen is average, with some students reporting hygiene issues. Sports grounds are available. But equipment and medical support are limited.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally qualified and supportive. They explain concepts well, making the teaching quality quite good. They are student-friendly. The curriculum is mostly relevant to industry-oriented subjects but lacks hands-on training in some areas. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a pass percentage of around 80-90% though some find the evaluation consistent.
Other: I chose B.Sc. computer science to build a strong base in programming and software development. The course has supportive faculty members and covers key subjects but lacks sufficient practical exposure and internships. The campus has occasional events and good connectivity, though extracurriculars and scholarships need improvement. Recently Telugu Maha Sabhalu event has been celebrated very grandly.

I love the college. It has a good campus and excellent faculty members.
Placements: Everyone with 50% can be placed in this course. The highest package is 2.3 LPA and the lowest package is Rs. 70,000 per annum. The top roles offered are toxicology teachers, works in labs, etc. Almost 100% of students got internships. Students also get placed as lab technicians, DNA testing, cyber security in IT companies, scientists, professors, etc.
Infrastructure: It provides a good infrastructure for our course. It has good classrooms and a library. The hostel is good. It conducts sports and games every year. We played so many games and got medals in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The guidance is good and they have very good knowledge of the subject. The teaching quality is very good. The course will make students ready for industrial development. Exams are a little difficult but so interesting if we study well and enroll well. The pass percentage is 50%. It has good faculty members who explain us tools and machines in the laboratory.
Other: I chose this course because completing this course is my dream. I love how this field works and gives justice to the world. We have the best faculty members in our college, but I wish we had more practical knowledge of things we studied in the college. It organsies fests and extracurricular activities.

It is a good college but provides poor placements.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2.5 LPA. The recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, and Tech Mahindra. Around 98% of students got internships at TCS and other IT companies.
Infrastructure: Food served is good and healthy. Classrooms are clean and have fans and lights. Our college has a good library. There are good physics and computer labs with good computers. Good medical facilities are available. Wi-Fi is available. Our campus is very good and consists of good and clean washrooms.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good, helpful, and knowledgeable. They clear the doubts of the students. They are well-qualified with masters's degrees. The course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because it would provide a good future in the IT sector. Scholarships are provided.
