Golaghat Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must be a Permanent resident of Assam. Candidate's minimum age must be 17 years and maximum age 21 years. Maximum age for B.Sc. passed candidate and SC/ST candidate is 22 years and 24 years respectively.

College placements are satisfactory. Nearly 75% of applicants were accepted to our college. One LPA is the lowest salary package provided, and eight LPA is the largest. This college training resulted in internships for about 70% of students.
