IIFT Delhi is ranked #63 in the QS International Trade Ranking under MBA 2025. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade was established as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry in 1963. The deemed-to-be University is accredited by AACSB and with an A Grade by NAAC. IIFT Delhi, through various departments, offers PG, doctoral, certificate, and various other courses to students. Located in South Delhi, IIFT Delhi is spread across an area of six acres. Facilities offered at the institute include an auditorium with a seating capacity of 500 students, three computer centres, hostels and a library with 84,000 volumes and subscriptions, 800 journals and 12 Bloomberg terminals. IIFT Kakinada does not offer direct admission. Aspirants have to first apply on the institute's website for admission. Aspirants must hold a valid score in IPMAT for a seat in the institute. Besides, candidates should also meet the eligibility requirements for admission. Once selected, aspirants need to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment.
Candidates with a valid BA/or equivalent degree with Maths/ Economics as a subject and at least 55% aggregate can apply for MA in IIFT Delhi. Eligible candidates can apply by filling out the admission form. The application fee is INR 2,500 for the General category or INR 1,000 for the Reserved category for PG courses at IIFT Delhi. Established in 2006, IIFT Kolkata is spread across a campus area of seven acres. Yes, IIFT cut offs for MBA-International Business and Business Analytics admission differ category wise. For General category students, the IIFT cut off is higher than that for Reserved category students. For example, the IIFT 2022 cut off for General category candidates was 52.75 but for SC/ST candidates, it was 42.75. in 2023, the qualifying cut off was 35 percentile for General-EWS and NC-OBC categories, it is 35 percentile. For SC/ST/PwD/KashmiriMigrants/Non-Migrants, the IIFT cut offs 2023 was 30 percentile. Selection for the personal interview round is based on these cut offs.
The Reserved category students also get the benefit of Reservation quota fixed by the Government of India. A certain number of seats are available for Reserved category candidates in the management programmes.
