B.A in Psychology - Batch of 2027

The inside review of my college.
Placements: There is not much help with placements, as they forget to provide internships. The placement is a far-away concept. Honestly, it is a good college, but it is not very helpful when it comes to placements. Additionally, there are no top roles for my course compared to others.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are bearable, but they could be better. The canteen food is so unhealthy, and there is no Wi-Fi available. I do not stay in the hostel, but I have heard from my friends that it is not much better. The warden is like a jail officer working there.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, especially in the Psychology and English Literature departments, so if you want to opt for these courses, you are in luck. I do not know much about them The Science sections vary according to the teacher. The course curriculum is somewhat supported, and the passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I have a keen interest in psychology. In terms of events and fests, all thanks to the drama club of our college for making it possible for us to enjoy.

B.A in Arabic - Batch of 2024

College is okay in terms of infrastructure. Teachers are not that helpful.
Placements: There is no such thing as placements because they don't have any such facilities at the college. You have to look for the job on your own. They are there just to educate and impart the same, but not to care about the jobs. They will just prepare you for the course that you have chosen.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but more emphasis should be given to cleanliness in the canteens, and medical facilities should be improved. The price of food in the canteens should be reviewed and made slightly lower, and more equipment should be purchased for medical purposes.
Faculty: Not all teachers are helpful, and once you miss lectures, you will find it hard to collect the study material, no matter if the reason is genuine. Some teachers are really quite helpful and will take time in their free time to help with any doubt.
Other: I chose Arabic because it is quite easy, and I love it. The best thing about my course is that it is something that I have studied since I was 14, and I find it quite easy. I wish that books should be made available for it and more importance given to it.

Our college provides good infrastructure and teachers but placements are not good.
Placements: There were no placements in this course. Few students opted for higher studies. It was a new course so there were great opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were well-maintained. There was a decent library in this college. Digital classrooms were better. Hostels were better. The food served in the mess was decent. A canteen was available. Medical facilities were provided. Sports and games were conducted in this college.
Faculty: Teachers were cooperative, helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. Semester exams were easy. The passing marks were 22 out of 56. According to the new education policy, passing marks changed.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Home Science - Batch of 2024

Our college is one of the best colleges of the valley.
Placements: I am the student from department of home Science. I am pursuing bachelors degree in home sceince. The B.Sc. in home Science is compeled in 3 to 4 years approximately. There are total 6 semesters in this degree. Total number of students per batch is almost 40 to 45.
Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure is good. Labs are good but chairs present in the labs are too much uncomfortable and broken. There are 6 labs in our department. Every lab is good but if we talk about physical Science lab, there is shortage of accesories, som tools and acids are not available. Other labs are enough good.
Faculty: Faculty of our college is very good. Every teacher is very knowledgeable, supportive, humble and helpful. We have 5 to 6 teachers in department of home Science. Moving to the semester exams, they are neither tough nor easy. Checking of papers is done strictly.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) + Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2025

Better infrastructure with better faculty.
Placements: About 5% of our batch mates got placement in various high tech companies. The minimum package was about 15k, upto 100k. Roles of web designing, application making, coding, programming, Programing annalist, software developer, software manager & data base designer were offered.
Infrastructure: What I was most attracted by was the infrastructure of the college. There was every facility needed by any student. Well maintained computer labs, classrooms, libraries, gives a glimpse to the beauty. Also the hostel, medical facilities, food, sports, and games are well controlled.
Faculty: The staff is well qualified and educated. They always try to give there 100% to improve the understandings of every student. Their motivational speech is enough to develop enthusiasm. The exams pattern is quite good. Result percentage is about 80%.
Other: Programming was one of my favorite all the time so decided to go with this course. There should be yearly scholarships for poor students so that they don't face any kind of problem as Faced.

I am satisfied with my college.
Placements: There were only 35 students in my course. The lowest package offered in our course was 12K INR, the average was 20K INR, and the highest was 45K INR. The top recruiting companies for our course were News Websites and blogs. 5 students out of 35 joined internships. The top roles offered in our course are proof reader, blog editor, newspaper article writer.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facilities in the college for students. However, Classrooms and the library are very good. There are both indoor and outdoor games equipments available in the college. You can play whatever you want. The hostel facilities are available for female candidates only.
Faculty: The teachers are not as helpful as one would want. Yes, the course will help you in building your personality. It will also enable you to think rationally. The semester exams are kind of harder than other courses as you have to analyse every text you read critically.
Other: I chose this course to develop my understanding of literature and fiction.
