Review of Government College, Nedumangad.
Placements: In our college, almost 60 students were placed in our course. The government provided E grants that allow students to complete the course freely. Top recruiting companies like Technopark, etc., visited our campus.
Infrastructure: We had labs, classrooms, and a library with plenty of books. Medical facilities were available. The hostel life was good. The quality of food in the mess was good.
Faculty: Our teachers were good. They were helpful. They were Ph.D. holders and were highly qualified. Their teaching quality was good. Math was useful in science-based industries but it did not apply to any profitable industry. The exam had its standards. The pass percentage was 28%. Our teachers' behavior was good.
Other: The semester fee was Rs.1100 for economically weaker students.

It is one of the best government colleges in Nedumangad.
Placements: Our college provided good placement opportunities. There were many vacancies in the government sector for eligible students. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. About 58% of students were placed.
Infrastructure: The hostel was affordable for all students. The rooms in the hostel were quite good. Many facilities, like clean drinking water, fans, beds, study tables, cupboards, etc., were available. The food at the hostel had many varieties. The food was tasty. Registration for the hostel was done at the time of admission to this college.
Faculty: The course curriculum was good. All facluty members were good and very helpful. They provided enough resources. They were highly qualified. Some of them graduated from foreign universities. The method of teaching was good. Exams were easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course because it is easy.

A Student's Perspective on KVSM GCN.
Placements: Placement services are comparatively low for this course. Only a few banking companies conduct interviews for new students, but they are worthwhile for the students who get the placements. Banks like IndusInd and HDFC came for interviews at our college. The FYUGP students can also participate in these placement interviews. These placements are for low-level jobs.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide Wi-Fi facilities for students' personal purposes. Research room facilities are available for students and faculty members with Wi-Fi and computer facilities. There is a wide library with a broad collection of books, which is helpful for students of any department. The classrooms have decent facilities. There are no projectors or smart classrooms, but these may come in the future. There are hostel facilities for female students provided on campus with good surveillance. They provide quality food and a calm atmosphere for students with great security. Canteen services are also available, offering decent food. Students interested in sports can also opt for this college as they give importance to the sports section too.
Faculty: The professors are qualified and knowledgeable in our department. They are ready to assist with any kind of educational purpose. They are mainly strict about studies, as they conduct classes during their own hours. There's a chance to conduct extra classes if they couldn't cover the portions before the exams. Our studies are completely based on theoretical knowledge, so we didn’t get any work experience. The exams are conducted under the University of Kerala. They notify the exam schedule 20 days before the examination. The marks are based on CGPA. A student should at least need an E to pass.
Other: I was interested in studying commerce, which is why I chose this course. Commerce and Science students can opt for this course. The government should also provide practical knowledge to the students. I hope they will give such facilities in the future. The campus is also a good one. The students get minimal fests and events on special occasions. There is a political union that conducts events and fests for students. Students can also get scholarships from the government if they are eligible.

Hostel facilities are very good in our college.
Placements: Placements were provided in our college. Some students got placed on campus and others prepared for off-campus placements. Internships were provided for students during college. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA and the minimum salary package was 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel was very affordable and admission was given according to marks. The hostel fee was Rs.2,500 per month. Food and other facilities were good. The hostel menu keeps changing every day. Hostel rooms were neat and clean. Each classroom was sufficient for 55 students.
Faculty: I chose this course because of my interest. It was one of the best departments in our university. All faculty members in our college were well qualified and some of them had higher degrees from European Universities. Their teaching methods were interesting. There were special seminars and conferences conducted by the department.
Other: Our course fee was Rs.3,969 per annum. Debates, discussion seminars, etc., were organised in our college.

It is one of the best government colleges.
Placements: Our college provides a lot of job opportunities for eligible students. Our college provides many vaccines in the government sector each year so students can grab a job as per their ability. I got the same opportunity from our college. I got placement in a high-profile company and the salary package offered was 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility provided by our college was good. Hot water, food, and drinking facility are available in the hostel room. Our hostel rooms are spacious, and bathrooms are clean, workers clean them daily. The food served in the hostel is good. They provide a variety of food items. They provide a good menu with south Indian food. The registration process for a hostel starts before the 1st semester.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and highly educated. Some of them had degrees from the European University. The most important thing is their teaching method which is good and interesting. Semester exams are hard. Exams are between the four semesters and we have a periodic test.
Other: I opted for this course because I am interested in it.

Review of Government College, Nedumangad.
Placements: The college keeps the students updated with various job opportunities. They also help the students prepare for the screening process and provide skill development programs. Internships are not provided by our college. The course offers a great chance for students to go for higher studies.
Infrastructure: In our college, hostel facilities are not available. Most of the students are day scholars, and a few stay in the university hostel. They charge for the university hostel, and it is around Rs. 2,000. Our course has an unbearable fee for each semester, and other courses do not have such a fee structure.
Faculty: Our college comes under Kerala University, and they conduct semester exams. We have 2-semester exams a year. The college conducts class tests, internals, viva, project, seminar, assignments, etc. The exam system is not relevant because students do not get much time to prepare for exams.
Other: The course provides good job opportunities, so I have chosen this course. Every year, our college conducts a variety of programs. The college union conducts arts day, sports day, college day, cultural day, etc., every year. These programs will last for at least 1 week. It also conducts a science exhibition.
