My college is overall good because of my friends, and the education is also fine.
Placements: As our college was established only in 2021, the chances and expectations of getting placements are zero. So, due to this, there are no lowest or highest packages. We get around 70% of internships from our course at Amul, Anand. Top companies for internships include ITC, Kellogg's, Nestlé, etc. Roles include Production Trainee, Quality Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college offers 5 different buildings for each particular branch, so the infrastructure is quite nice. However, it lacks lab setups, which are mostly needed for a Food Technology branch. The network is also very poor. The library is good, but there is a shortage of books for particular subjects. There is no hostel or mess facility offered to girls.
Faculty: Faculty in our branch is very cooperative, kind, helpful, and well-qualified too. I would rate them 9 out of 10. First-year subjects are not relevant, but from the 2nd to 4th year, the subjects provide enough knowledge and a base to get a job as a Food Technologist. They make students industry-ready. A minimum of 40% is required to pass. Exam difficulty varies according to different semesters, but it is usually moderate.
Other: I chose this course because I just want to do engineering but without a Maths background. So, my branch is quite interesting and more practical, as it makes me more curious about my branch. It becomes more interesting when I learn the science behind the food items that I consume daily, and how they are manufactured and packed. I expect more practical exposure. College social gatherings and sports are held every year. They are arranged by the Gymkhana Committee, as I am part of this committee. Scholarships are also available every year.

Infrastructure is good, but college facilities and placements should be improved to help students.
Placements: Being a second-year student at my college, I haven't witnessed any companies visit my college and offer my seniors any kind of placement. No company tie-ups are associated with my college. Therefore, no recruitment is done for the students by our college. Some students get internships through companies that offer us short-term internships on the basis of a passing test.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good. Students are provided with efficient seating places around the college campus. Efficient classrooms with smart boards are also provided. The library is also made available for the students. The college does not provide any kind of mess or hostel facilities from its end. Students have to look after them themselves. Medical facilities are available for the students within the college premises. Sports and games happen every year and are organized by the college Gymkhana Committee, which is run by college students only.
Faculty: Faculty is good at teaching. It happens many times that teachers are not available for lectures, so sometimes it is covered on the go. The teaching quality is okay. Course subjects do matter a lot for my further understanding, but some subjects do not hold much relevance. Students can get industry-ready if they are trained with a practical approach. The overall pass percentage is 40%, and semester exams are tough to pass.
Other: I want to explore and learn more concepts within this newly discovered branch of Mechatronics. The best thing is that the subjects tend to be versatile, as they contain core concepts of mechanics and electronics along with some programming. Events, college gatherings, and sports and games happen every year with huge participation from students, along with extracurricular activities. Scholarships are also available for students, thereby making college feel more affordable.

Dissatisfied because of management and faculty. The rest infrastructure and campus are good.
Placements: Approximately 20-30 percent of students are placed. The lowest package is Rs. 10,000. The highest package is Rs. 25,000. I don't know the names of any companies yet. 40-50 percent of students got internships at smartED. Backend and full-stack development are roles offered.
Infrastructure: Except for Wi-Fi rest everything are in good shape labs, classrooms, library. There are many PGs around the college campus. Hostels are available for both male and female students, and those are in good shape too. Canteens and mess are also available nearby, so we get good quality food just like home.
Faculty: For me, teachers were helpful but sometimes they are not available also same is true for my friends. I find it relevant as subjects cover required knowledge for industries. Exams are mostly easy as the syllabus is quite predictable. Pass percentage of students is 40 percent.

Overall, my college experience is not up to the mark.
Placements: No students have received placements from my college. My college doesn't provide any placements. As my college is newly established, many things are taking time to settle. The placement part is one of those. Therefore, no such offers are there which my college can offer. The only thing is that the college does provide internships, but to a limited number of students only on the basis of certain passing tests. The rest of the students have to pay separately to do the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, as the college was recently established and reconstructed. Classrooms and the library are nicely constructed. Network connection is very poor in our college classrooms. The college has not allotted its own canteen or mess facilities or a hostel. All of these things are under construction and still to be introduced by our college. Sports and games often happen in our college, and normal medical facilities are there.
Faculty: Faculty members are good at teaching, but they are not that helpful in clearing or solving all our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant, but many things are there which are outdated as of today's date. This does not help make the student industry-ready. Students still face problems while making certain projects or giving vivas there. Semester exams are nearly difficult only. One has to pass the exam with a minimum of 40 percent.
Other: Events, gatherings, and sports happen every year at our college, including some extracurricular activities. Scholarships are available for students eligible under certain terms and conditions. The campus surroundings are not good for getting involved and discussing things, because many times students are not able to relate to each other on certain terms. I chose this branch because I wanted to develop great knowledge in this domain to enter the public sector. The course syllabus could be improved, along with industry exposure.

No placements, lack of facilities, and administration work is not up to the mark at this college.
Placements: Students did not get any placement from the college as the companies do not visit this college. No official tie up is there of the companies or organisations who would help students getting placed. A few companies come up with a short internship programme and give internships to students on the basis of passing a test. The rest of the students have to pay and then do the internships.
Infrastructure: The college building was reconstructed, so the infrastructure is good. But poor network connections are there. Classes contain smartboards, and a library is also there. But electricity problem also does happen fewer times. There are no official hostel or mess facilities. Students themselves have to find it and pay for it separately. The college conducts sports and games and also college gatherings, and the medical facility is improved in my college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and cooperative. Their teaching quality is overall good. The course curriculum has some interesting subjects, but many subjects held very little relevance, especially the first-year subjects. Semester exams are difficult to pass. The pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: As I developed an interest in automation, I decided to do my engineering under this course of mechatronics, as it is also a blend of electrical and mechanical concepts, this grabbed my attention for choosing this course. It seemed to be a very versatile subject. I wish I could get more practical exposure to this. Events do happen once a year in my college.

College should pay attention to modifying the curriculum of the course and practical exposure.
Placements: Students do not get placed with the help of the college as there are no placements from our college. No such roles or packages are offered because the college does not have any such TPO cell in function. A few small tech organisations come and grant a few students internships on the basis of a test, otherwise in the name of placement no such thing is guaranteed from our college. College is recently established, so no such companies are visiting to grant placements in our college.
Infrastructure: Library is available but the college has very poor network connections. Classrooms contain smart boards and spacious classrooms are available. As the college was reconstructed, the infrastructure is good, but overall the facilities that the students must get are not fully. No official hostel facilities are available. No mess food is available from the side of the college. Students themselves have to manage their living over there. Outside the college premises, rent, PGs, and hostel rooms are available and mess are also there. The college conducts gatherings and sports every year, and a decent medical facility is available.
Faculty: Few faculty members are permanent in the college, rest of the faculty members are assistant professors teaching us. Overall the faculty is good at teaching and helping students in their academic curriculum. Every subject of the course is useful, some of the subjects are useful for us, but in our first year there are subjects which are of no use to us, still we have to study and pass exams for them, holding no relevance for us. Students do not get entirely ready after studying these subjects. Pass percentage is 40 percent and the exam difficulty lies between moderate and difficult.
Other: I chose this course due to the high demand of CS specialisation students in the tech industry. The best thing about this course is learning data Science. I wish I could learn more practical subjects within my course to enhance my knowledge in it, instead of learning non-technical subjects which do not hold much relevance to me. Campus surroundings have improved with time and the college conducts sports competitions every year, including indoor and outdoor games as well as college gatherings and activities too. Various scholarships are available for students, mainly female students, based on various criteria.
