College should pay attention to modifying the curriculum of the course and practical exposure.

Placements: Students do not get placed with the help of the college as there are no placements from our college. No such roles or packages are offered because the college does not have any such TPO cell in function. A few small tech organisations come and grant a few students internships on the basis of a test, otherwise in the name of placement no such thing is guaranteed from our college. College is recently established, so no such companies are visiting to grant placements in our college.

Infrastructure: Library is available but the college has very poor network connections. Classrooms contain smart boards and spacious classrooms are available. As the college was reconstructed, the infrastructure is good, but overall the facilities that the students must get are not fully. No official hostel facilities are available. No mess food is available from the side of the college. Students themselves have to manage their living over there. Outside the college premises, rent, PGs, and hostel rooms are available and mess are also there. The college conducts gatherings and sports every year, and a decent medical facility is available.

Faculty: Few faculty members are permanent in the college, rest of the faculty members are assistant professors teaching us. Overall the faculty is good at teaching and helping students in their academic curriculum. Every subject of the course is useful, some of the subjects are useful for us, but in our first year there are subjects which are of no use to us, still we have to study and pass exams for them, holding no relevance for us. Students do not get entirely ready after studying these subjects. Pass percentage is 40 percent and the exam difficulty lies between moderate and difficult.

Other: I chose this course due to the high demand of CS specialisation students in the tech industry. The best thing about this course is learning data Science. I wish I could learn more practical subjects within my course to enhance my knowledge in it, instead of learning non-technical subjects which do not hold much relevance to me. Campus surroundings have improved with time and the college conducts sports competitions every year, including indoor and outdoor games as well as college gatherings and activities too. Various scholarships are available for students, mainly female students, based on various criteria.

The college campus and facilities are good, but the affiliated university is poorly managed.

Placements: No one is placed through the college. All students get placed through their own efforts and off-campus opportunities. In our course, the salary package is up to 6 LPA, while the highest package can reach 20 LPA or more. Infosys, TCS, Accenture, IBM, Amazon, Google, and Microsoft offer opportunities. Many students have received internships and jobs through their own efforts. One can also get placed in TCS. Roles include ML Engineer, MS Executive, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, AI Engineer, BI Developer, etc.

Infrastructure: When I was in college, hostel renovation work was going on, so I had no idea about the hostel, canteen, or mess facilities. However, the college building facilities are good. There is Wi-Fi, computer labs for practical work, and a big library for studying. There are also many classrooms. Overall, the college infrastructure is good. Drinking water coolers are provided, and clean washrooms are also available.

Faculty: The teaching staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They solve students' doubts and help them understand concepts, not just theory. Practical knowledge is also provided for better understanding. There is somewhat of a lack of an industry-ready curriculum, but teachers are supportive. They support students with their ideas and knowledge and encourage them to participate in hackathons and other technical competitions. Semester exams are not that difficult. Students can prepare from their assignments and tutorials to pass the semester exams.

Other: I did not have much choice at that time. However, this course helps me improve the skills and knowledge that companies need right now. Because of the AI era, companies need more skilled employees. This course is worth considering for students who want to build a career in the AI or ML field. I suggest focusing more on practical knowledge rather than only theoretical knowledge. There are annual functions, sports events, technical events, project competitions, quiz competitions, and Garba nights organized on the college campus.

The college should improve its working system and placement cell.

Placements: I am a B.Tech passout of the year 2026 under the domain of AI & this. There are no placements in my college. No companies visited for the placement drive. Only a few students got internships under some companies named Datamines Corporation and Konkan Railways. Nearly 20 percent of students got internships via the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure to date is good, and more facilities are made available for the students regarding labs, libraries, sitting areas, etc. There are no direct facilities of hostel, mess, or canteen from the college. Students have to manage it on their own. Basic medical amenities are available, and sports and games do happen every year.

Faculty: The teachers are quite good and also helpful in solving doubts or academic problems. Overall, the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum consists of limited subjects, which are helpful, it contains more theoretical and irrelevant subjects instead of practical knowledge. Semester exams are moderate to difficult in level, and the pass percentage is 40 percent.

Other: Due to the increasing demands of specialisation jobs under the tech domain, I decided to opt for this course. The best thing is that it keeps getting upgraded over the years to learn new things in tech. I wish I could have got more practical knowledge of the useful subjects rather than just the theoretical knowledge, which could have helped me to become industry-ready. College gatherings and sports days are conducted.

Overall, it is an average experience in terms of faculty, facilities, and crowd.

Placements: Currently, almost no placements are being offered in our college since it is a relatively new engineering college in the region. However, it holds the advantage of being a government college, as a few state government companies are expected to offer packages to students in the near future. The first batch of the college has mostly opted for off-campus placements, and a few companies are expected to come for placements by the time the 3rd and 4th batches graduate out of the college.

Infrastructure: The new building is definitely above average in terms of its general architecture and layout, equipped with good facilities like washrooms, boys' and girls' common rooms, and a library. However, most parts of the building and washrooms are not currently operational and are expected to be fully functional by the end of this year. The hostel is not available for all students and rather, it is allotted only to a few girls, handicapped individuals, and those under specific reservations. However, the hostel is not very big and consists of simple single rooms. You can stay at many PGs nearby which provides cheap rates.

Faculty: The academic qualifications of all teachers in our course are sufficient and good enough. Most of the teaching staff consists of visiting faculty members however, they are very cooperative in solving all doubts related to the subject. The curriculum for our course is impressive in terms of the variety of subjects taught in our branch. Semester exams are worth 60 marks, with a passing criterion of 20 marks. Semester exams can be delayed or postponed for various reasons from their originally scheduled date.

Other: I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and interest in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Many of its fundamental topics are included in the curriculum as individual subjects. However, relying solely on what is taught in college may be detrimental when it comes to acquiring real-world skills. Many things in the college can be improved, especially the organization of teaching faculty members around the students. More importantly, extracurricular activities can be improved so include each and every student of the college.

It will give you best possible outcome if you are seriously interested in this course.

Placements: Around 40%-50% students are placed. The highest was around twenty thousand and the lowest was around eight to ten thousand. I don't remember names of company but they were mostly from outside ratnagiri, one company from ratnagiri was gadre information teach. Most of the students completed their internship in SmartED. Backed developed.

Infrastructure: Except a good Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and libraries are in a good shape. Food quality is like home as there are 3/4 mess around college campus. Sports are conducted without any difficulties. Not sure about medical facilities. Hostels are in good condition near college campus.

Faculty: For me teachers were helpful but for some of my friends they were not available sometimes. Overall faculty is average. Not that relevant, I feel like it should be more competitive than it is currently. Exams are mostly easy. 40% is the pass percentage.

Other: In ratnagiri it should be the best and value for money course to pursue. I wish teaching faculty and whole university management were more responsible and better. Events and fests are good, also social life is well settled.

Satisfied with teaching and faculty, good infrastructure but management is not good.

Placements: New College so still no placements has done, but as it is government college, placements will done soon. TCS Wipro are companies which visits college and after one year definitely other companies will visit. With 70 or more than 70 percent u can easily get placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has library. Good classrooms with technical tools. As our college is new. The construction is going on. No hostels are available yet. College is good at sports. Teachers motivates to participate in Sport, games. College provide lots of facilities.

Faculty: Teacher are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Semester examination are managed by Dbatu university. Semester exams are not that tough. U can pass easily. With 35 percent u can get pass. If internal marks are good u can score good with low efforts. But for best results study needs to be hard.

Other: As we know Artificial intelligence has more scope than other trades so I chose it.

One of the very few government colleges, which offers a B.Tech in AI.

Placements: Placements are decent, as it's a new college but still it is one of the of the best government colleges in Maharashtra. Many companies visit campus for placements, and almost 80% of students get placed on campus. Many government companies visited the campus along with private MNCs.

Infrastructure: Labs are available. Classrooms at our college are designed to support a focused learning environment for students, equipped with essential technology like projectors and whiteboards. Sports clubs are great, and all kinds of sports are played from Cricket to Kho-kho. Food is quite average. There are not many restaurants or cafes near our college make it well with good taste.

Faculty: Faculty members at our college stand out as the most important feature of our institution, combining exceptional qualifications with a genuine commitment to student development. Each professor brings an impressive depth of knowledge and expertise. They not only help students academically but also in other extracurricular activities. Our professors have both diverse and impressive qualities. Many hold Ph.D. degrees, and have completed doctoral programs.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in Artificial intelligence and Data Science from the start. This is the only government college in Maharashtra that offers this course, which is a unique feature of our college. Fests and events are conducted every year and many students from different parts of city participate in them.

Dissatisfied because of management and faculty. The rest infrastructure and campus are good.

Placements: Approximately 20-30 percent of students are placed. The lowest package is Rs. 10,000. The highest package is Rs. 25,000. I don't know the names of any companies yet. 40-50 percent of students got internships at smartED. Backend and full-stack development are roles offered.

Infrastructure: Except for Wi-Fi rest everything are in good shape labs, classrooms, library. There are many PGs around the college campus. Hostels are available for both male and female students, and those are in good shape too. Canteens and mess are also available nearby, so we get good quality food just like home.

Faculty: For me, teachers were helpful but sometimes they are not available also same is true for my friends. I find it relevant as subjects cover required knowledge for industries. Exams are mostly easy as the syllabus is quite predictable. Pass percentage of students is 40 percent.
