Placements: The placement opportunities are average for Civil Engineering students. Some companies visit the college for recruitment, but there are not many opportunities specifically for core civil engineering roles. Students also have to search for jobs and internships on their own. The college provides some guidance regarding placements and interviews.

Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure for Civil Engineering. There are classrooms, laboratories, a library and other basic facilities required for the course. The labs are useful for understanding practical concepts. Wi-Fi and other facilities are available, although some facilities could be improved. The overall campus environment is comfortable for students.

Faculty: The faculty members are generally helpful and have good knowledge of their subjects. The teachers explain the concepts and guide students whenever required. The Civil Engineering curriculum covers both theoretical and practical subjects, but more practical and industry-based learning would be helpful. Semester exams are moderate in difficult and regular preparation is enough to pass.

Other: I chose Civil Engineering because I was interested in construction and infrastructure. The best part of the course is that it gives knowledge about structures, construction, transportation and other areas of civil engineering. The college also provides opportunities for technical activities and extracurricular activities. I feel that more industry visits, internships and practical training would make the course even better.
