College with okay infrastructure but full of politics.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed by the college campus. Our campus is very low as the college has not developed the placement cell and due to this students have to visit industries on their own and face many difficulties. It's hard to tell you about the highest and lowest packages offered because the placement is not done through the college. Top recruiting companies are SBI, Wipro, etc., which have visited the campus. To my knowledge, there is no student in our course who get internship through the college campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college campus is just average, with old buildings and less facilities inside. Though the college campus has large classrooms but most of the time the classrooms are found to be dusty and dirty. There is Wi-Fi setup at the college but that is not for students, that is only for teachers and office purposes. Campus has well maintained library separately for boys and girls students. College campus does not provide any hostel facility within the campus, so students who are coming from far have to arrange their own living place like PG.
Faculty: Coming to teachers and other staffs of the college campus then I would say that there are very less number of teachers who really have knowledge and have positive response towards the students and worried about their future. Rest of the teachers don't like students as much and also have appropriate nature towards the students. I don't think the course makes the students industry-ready as they don't have a placement cell of their own, and students face difficulties in finding work. It's difficult to score in semester exams due to the strict marking scheme of college.
Other: I have chosen this course as I have an interest in this specific course. The best thing I found at the college is some good friends and some supportive teachers who have helped us with every problem. The examination system of the college must be improved so that average students can also pass the exams easily and not have re-appear in exams again and again in every semester. The marking system should be changed and introduced with moderate marking system.
