Review of GDC Anantnag (Shaheed Himayu Muzammil Memorial).
Placements: I am a student of B.A., joined in 2022-2025 mostly. There are only arts students in the college & a rarity of medical students. Some students are regular, some are not present consistently. The ones who know the worth of their money are the ones who have no backlog. Others are failures.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are always neat and clean. The sitting arrangement is always good. The library is always open, and the staff in the library are always friendly. There are 2 libraries, one for medical students and 2nd for arts students. The books are so interesting, I read a lot of books related to psychology.
Faculty: The teachers always try to do things that make the classroom interesting. The curriculum is good and the exams are always easy for those students who join classes regularly, others are those who have backlogs in all subjects.
Other: I am an arts student. I was interested in psychology a little and in economics, where I started by graduation in 22 and completed in 25.

Excellent college with excellent infrastructure and good curriculum but unsatisfactory placements.
Placements: A 0% of students got placements. This is because the college didn't have any placement programs. But of late the college has started some placement programs in collaboration with Learnt. But as of now, no student has been placed.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with smart boards connected to Wi-Fi. Also, the labs are well-equipped with all the necessary lab equipment. The library is one of the best libraries I have ever seen it also has a reading room and a great collection of books on varying subjects and languages. However, the hostel facilities are not up to the mark. The college has a good canteen that serves hygienic food. Also, the college has a very big playground. It has a cricket pitch, volleyball court, tennis court, and a table tennis court as well.
Faculty: The college excels in terms of faculty, curriculum, and exams. The professors of the college are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and very supportive and helpful. The college follows a choice-based credit system. which is really good and offers great flexibility. The college also conforms to the new education policy. But I am not so sure about it making the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the end-semester exams is moderate and about 85% of the students can pass the exam.
Other: I choose the Bachelors of Arts course. I had economics and political Science as my core subjects. I chose this course because I was interested in the study of the subjects and the faculty of the college for these subjects was excellent. The best thing about my course is that it offers us an opportunity to deeply study our subjects. The course could've improved by conducting exams at regular intervals of time. Students also got scholarships through the Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme. The college excels in extracurricular activities and conducts regular debates, seminars, etc. The campus is good with a lot of chinar trees.

I'm dissatisfied because of the faculty. Placement offers are zero.
Placements: Around 65% of students got placed in our course. There is no recruitment for our course. Students did not get placements and internships because no company offered our college any internships. Roles are not offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The library, labs, and classrooms are quite good. The Wi-Fi service is off. If the Wi-Fi network gets connected, it is always out of recharge. The infrastructure of the hostel is bad. Hostel rooms are full of dust. Walls of the hostel are dirty. The canteen food is tasteless.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. They are qualified but not experienced. The course is not relevant. It doesn't make students industry-ready. Our college semester exams are busy. Teachers who evaluate the paper are bad at evaluation.
Other: Our college should bring better teachers and conduct exams on a regular basis without any delay.

I am satisfied with this college because of its faculty members and good placements in 2023.

Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. Wi-Fi is good around the campus. Labs are very good. Classrooms are the best. They have very good facilities. We have smart classrooms. They have the best internet. Various books are available on different topics.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult. They are designed for competitive exams.
Other: I opted for this course because it has many best things. There is nothing to improve as everything is good.

The College Is Very Good.
Placements: 80% campus placement is guaranteed in our college. Every year campus drives were conducted by our college from good companies in the market. Even though I've been placed in campus drives. Our college is interacting with other companies over years. It is too good.
Infrastructure: Experienced and good skilled professors to develop student's skill and knowledge. Good infrastructure and pleasant atmosphere. Teachers support all cultural activities and it's fun. They also listen to the students and always tried to fulfil the student's desires on activities like a fest. Also traditional day and all are celebrated in our college.
Faculty: The faculty in our college is not much great. The credit system is followed. We have studied a lot of things irrelevant to the course. Studying subjects like public administration, behavioural sciences, etc., in the course of economics honours was useless. The college should have provided better subjects which would make people employable.

I think every facility is good. Professors are well-trained and friendly with students.
Placements: Our college has a good placement cell. It provides good placement training programs, which makes students confident for interviews. Well-known companies visit our college for placements and offer a good salary package for freshers. It provides good placements for which our placement sir is helping us a lot even in this pandemic situation. They have tried to attend classes online, and it is good that we are now able to gain the knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our college has a well-planned infrastructure. It has amenities like academic buildings, laboratories, administration wing, hostel buildings and a good playground. The central library provides excellent books and materials. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. There are individual laboratories for all the departments, which are well-equipped with components and good working instruments.
Faculty: I studied mathematics in this college because I am extremely eager to explore the subject for its impressive ideas and powerful applications. Faculty members in our department are very supportive and student-friendly. They help the students to learn beyond the syllabus and encourage them in publishing research papers. The course curriculum is up-to-date, and it includes almost all the recent developments in that specific field.
Other: I had chosen this course because when I chose this course, my science was not good. Then I selected the bachelor of arts course in mathematics, which is very important for me.

Faculty: Our teachers are courageous. They help students in every possible way. They are very skillful, and they make students understand the concepts. The curricular activities in our college are good. It is difficult to pass the exams, and the pass percentage is 36%.

I'm satisfied with the college.
Placements: We were 20% students of that batch in total college. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 70,000 per month, and the highest salary offered is Rs.90,000 per month. economic analysis.
Infrastructure: Many facilities like water, washroom, transport and many more are available. Sports is the best facility we like every time. We are happy that we chose this college for our B.A. degree and we got an average percentage of marks as well.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and humble. They are ready to help us and are kind. Semester exams are very difficult, but teachers help us a lot. I thank my friends who told me to join this college.
Other: Food is also available on campus.
