In most of the top institutions like IIMs, the minimum eligibility to pursue an MBA is 50% aggregate in graduation. But the marks in graduation are not the only criteria. Kashmir University offers a BA programme through its various affiliated colleges. Kashmir University BA admission is based on scores obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination. Candidates seeking admission to the BA programme offered at Kashmir University are required to pass the Class 12 exams.

The documents required at the time of Kashmir University BA application process are as follows:

• Duly-attested copy of Class 10 marksheet
• Duly-attested copy of Class 12 marksheet
• Duly-attested translated copies of marksheets/ degrees in a language other than English
• Character Certificate from the head of the institute last attended
• Category Certificate (if applicable)

For courses like MBA, M Pharma, BTech and MTech, you have to submit your CMAT, GPAT, JEE Mains and GATE scores. For other courses you have to give a separate entrance exam conducted by the University and based on your merit you will get admission.

The number of BTech/ BPharma, PG (2-year) and Integrated PG students placed over the past three years indicates an improving trend. On the other hand, a fluctuating trend was observed in the number of UG (3-year) students placed over the past three years. The university releases application forms online on its official website (kashmiruniversity.net). However, the application form can also be collected from the admission office of Kashmir University.

To be eligible for admission to M.Sc. courses at University of Kashmir, South Campus, candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in a relevant topic from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points in order to be considered for admission to the University of Kashmir, South Campus's M.Sc. programs. However, this may differ for specific specialisations or reserved categories.
