No, candidates need to register for the JEE Mains entrance exam to gain admissions into the BE course at GEC. On the official portal for the JEE Mains exam, it is stated that the registration forms for the JEE exams will only get accepted if the forms are submitted in the online mode on the prescribed portal. Any other form of submission will not be considered for the registration of the applicant.
The timeline for the GEC BE admissions follow the same timeline as the JEE Mains entrance exam. The last date to register for the JEE Mains 2025 exam was in November 2024. Candidates who applied for the JEE Mains exam can now download their results from the official portal and start to apply for the BE admissions at GEC.
