GEC Bharuch - Shaping engineers with knowledge, skills, and innovation.

Faculty: The Mechanical Engineering Department at Government Engineering College (GEC), Bharuch, is supported by a team of well-qualified and experienced faculty members. Most of them hold postgraduate (M.E. /M.Tech) or doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees in core mechanical fields such as Thermal Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, and Fluid Mechanics. The faculty are actively involved in teaching, research, and mentoring students. They also participate in seminars, workshops, and training programs to keep themselv...

Good infrastructure and practical learning, but it needs better industry exposure.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good with a focus on concept clarity. Curriculum is mostly relevant and includes practical aspects. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The average pass percent is around 70%-75%.

Lack of practical knowledge, and still an old curriculum, strict attendance criteria.

Faculty: Only 2 faculty members are there in the computer department to date, and they are managing all the things; EC faculty members take our lecture. Honestly, our college didn't prepare or support students to be industry-ready; they are focusing on gaining marks more. Semester exams are conducted by GTU and are of a moderate level.

Good, but not the best. Still worth the study.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and supportive. Teaching quality is decent, but the theory is heavy, and self study is often needed. The curriculum is somewhat outdated but covers core topics. Semester exams are moderate. Pass percentage is high, 85 to 90%. It is not true for all facilities.

The college has very good infrastructure, but the library is very awful for students.

Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, contributing to good teaching quality. The course curriculum is largely relevant and updated, aiming to make students industry-ready by incorporating practical skills and current trends. Semester exams are moderately difficult, striking a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. While the exact pass percentage varies by course and semester, it's generally maintained at a reasonable level to ensure academic stan...

Good and decent college with very affordable fees.

Faculty: Yes, teachers of every department are very helpful. And they are also qualified from good institutes, and they are very knowledgeable. The semester exams are at a moderate level of difficulty, and the midterms are also similar. The pass percentage is about 75-80%.

It is an average college. It is a good government college for locals.

Faculty: It does not provide a very good study. It depends on self-study. Semester exams are easy to crack with one-night study. Teachers are not helpful. But some are very kind. If we do hard work, we can be ready for company. In the chemical branch, there is less competition compared to other branches.

I am satisfied with this college.

Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified. Some teachers are from IITs. The curriculum includes industrial training, internship, etc. Exams are moderate. They conduct mid-exams, submissions, and main exams. Almost 80% of students pass the exams. Exams are conducted strictly. They provide re-exams for failed students. The mid-exams consist of 30 marks. External exams consist of 70 marks.

It is one of the best colleges in South Gujarat, and I recommend you to take admission here.

Faculty: The best thing about our college is the faculty members. All the faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. They always try to give their best in teaching. They teach us the skills which are mainly useful for getting the best job in MNCs. Semester exams are a bit tough. The passing percentage is above 90-95%.

The course curriculum is quite good and it satisfies to make students industry ready. The semester exams are above average difficult and pass percentage is 85 to 90 percentage.

They should also teach about outside of the industry and it's really good environment to study here

Faculty: They are highly qualified and they have maximum knowledge about the course and they taught in different ways to make the students understand. Curriculum is relevant because it helps the students become industry ready. Exam is hard for students.
