It is a good college because of knowledgeable faculty members.

Placements: About 10% of students from our course get placed in campus placement in our college. For the 2021 batch, only two companies offered their job requirement for the mechanical engineering branch. The highest salary package offered in our course is 3.5 LPA. The top role offered in our course is a graduate engineer trainee.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is good. Our department has enough classrooms. Labs are also available with the latest equipment. The library in our college is available with the facilities of computers and Wi-Fi. The hostel facility in our college is good. A canteen and medical dispensary are available on the college campus.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The reaching techniques of the teachers are impressive and understanding. Faculty members use the smartboard and audiovisual aids to improve the understanding and skills of the students.

Other: The college organises tech fest and sports on campus.

It is the best engineering college in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students from our course are placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 3 LPA. There are top recruiting companies for our course. Almost 60% of the students got an internship in JOY, CIL, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure here are good. Wi-Fi and labs are also good. Quality of facilities in the hostel is excellent, and the food quality is good. Canteen, medical and sports and games are also very good at this college. Facilities provided are very good.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are excellent, helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The best knowledge is provided, and they are supportive of all students.

Other: I have chosen this course because this course is unique and have best job possibility. The best thing about this course is the placements. All activities are well and supportive in this college.

Absolutely satisfied because of low fees and good institute.

Placements: 14% students are placed for gayatri enterprises in 2020 batch. This company offered 1.5 Lacs per annum, & Top company for mining branch in GEC Bilaspur is JOY mining. This company offered 3.8 Lacs per annum but in year 2020 joy mining did not come to our college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs facility are very good in government engineering college Bilaspur Chhattisgarh but library provides average facilities. At mining department number of teachers are less and only one permanent teacher is available who is very good quality teacher.

Faculty: A qualified teacher is available who is helpful and have a very basic knowledge about academic and field knowledge with 30 year teaching experience. This mining course provide two vocational training which is very helpful to understand the miming industry.

All the facilities are almost good except canteen and sports.

Placements: Excellent internship facilities ( in every 6 months from 1st semester onwards). Almost 40-50% got placement in companies like joy mining, Prisma cement etc. Average package for our course is 4- 5 Lacs per annum. There is a shortage of faculty members but almost all the courses are covered.

Infrastructure: Our college is the best college for mining engineering course in Chhattisgarh state, labs are good enough, Wi-Fi and LAN facility available but canteen and sports facility are poor. All the classrooms are fully digital (smart classes). Infrastructure is good as it is a very old college established in 1965.

Faculty: There is a shortage of faculty members in our course but the course is almost covered. Teaching and industry visits help a lot. All the teachers are well qualified, they have M.Tech degree from various IITs like IIT Kharagpur, ism Dhanbad and IIT BHU. Training and visit make us industry ready.

It is one of the best colleges in our area, and I am satisfied with our college.

Placements: Almost 40% of the students are placed in previous years. The highest salary package offered is about 4-5 LPA and lowest salary package offered is 2-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are public sectors like SECL, NTPC, BCCL, etc. In our college, about 50-70% of the students got an internship in private sector companies like Joy.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and they provided good facilities. The entire building is equipped with Wi-Fi. Classrooms are smart, and the library is also good. Lab facilities in our department are not good. Hostel and mess are good, but canteen and medical facilities are bad.

Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified, always helpful, and their knowledge is better. Their teaching skills are very good. The course curriculum is good, and they are improving according to industry and new machines, which are used in mines in nowadays.

We have a great environment for study, as well as placement record and regularly updated curriculum

Placements: 1-The placement percentage of our branch is up to 60%. 2-The highest package offered was 16lac per annum, the lowest is approximately 1.1 lac per annum, average belongs to 6 lac per annum 3-Top companies are- Joy mining, Balco etc. 4-Top role offered was GENERAL MANAGER. 5-In my course, top package was approx 10lac, while average is around 4 lac, least is 1.2 lac per annum. 6- The internship is offered by SECL (South Eastern Coalfield Limited).

Infrastructure: 1-The Wi-Fi availability is good, with all-time easily accessible Wi-Fi facility along with great speed, both in upload and download We have well-equipped lab facilities, with all machines in working state, along with well maintained staff to run the labs. The library is well stocked with updated edition books. Our institution is now NBA accredited in 4 disciplines. 2-Hostel facility is average, food is quite good, medical and sports facilities are readily accessible.

Faculty: 1- Our teachers are well qualified along with Ph.D. In their respective subjects, they are too aware of recent changes in technology and other methods of teaching and effective learning. Teaching quality is best and up to the mark. 2-Our course curriculum is being updated regularly, with new syllabus every year and new programme outcomes. Our institution main aim is to make students industry ready, so they train them accordingly.

Other: 1-The reason behind choosing this course is due to it's better placement record and good teaching standards. 2-New machinery will definitely improve our knowledge base. 3-yearly events are organised, including fun event and tech fests, it improve the visualisation power of students. Scholarship is provided to meritorious students, and backward class students too.

I'm satisfied with the campus and facilities offered by them.

Placements: The placements for our batch were quite better when compared with other branches available in our college. Around 50% of the students were placed from the recently passed out batch. The highest salary package offered was around 4-5 LPA. Only a few companies visited our campus, but the companies which visited were offered placements for all the eligible students.

Infrastructure: The facilities offered by the college are good. College provides the Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms and library are good, but the labs, medical facilities, sports and games need to be improved. The building needs to be renovated. Hostel rooms are also good, but facilities need to be improved a little.

Faculty: The faculty members in our college are very helpful. They are well-educated and highly qualified from various prestigious institutes across India. The teaching methods used by them are very nice, and the elaboration is very clear. They cover all the topics and clear the doubts of every student.

Other: The college organises a technical fest which is very enjoyable.

Absolutely satisfied with the college in terms of faculty, technology used and placements.

Placements: This year, around 50% of students from the mining branch were placed. JMS Mining was the company that hired our seniors with good packages and offered the best facilities. The mining branch claims the best placement rate in our college, and it is a proud moment for all mining students. This college provides the best placement opportunities for mining branch students in Chhattisgarh. You have to apply for internships in the mines you know.

Infrastructure: The whole campus is enabled with Wi-Fi, and laboratories are also available on the campus. All the classrooms are digitalised, and the campus is under CCTV surveillance. A smart podium is provided in every class to teach the students. A new hostel named Shaheed Veer Narayan is available for the 1st year students, and it is good. A canteen is also available in the college.

Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified, knowledgeable and very helpful. You can get industry exposure as the college organises different types of visits regularly. Faculty members use smart classes to teach the students. The quality of teaching is good, and this is what you need in the college level. The teachers are good enough for students.

Other: Kaushalam is our techno-cultural fest which is held every year, and different types of activities are organised in the fest. Our college is well-connected with highway and railway stations, and the surroundings are also good. The college also focuses on extracurricular activities but not at an appropriate level. They conduct classes alongside events, and that's why students don't focus on those activities. Every year, the college offers scholarships for branch toppers. Overall, I'm having a good experience at the college.
