Strong infrastructure and facilities, decent placements, but faculty quality needs improvement.
Placements: Almost 90 to 150 students are admitted per year in B.Tech (Computer Science Engineering). Around 60 to 65% of students got placed in recent Batches. 10 LPA is the highest package. 3 LPA is the lowest one in this course, and the average package is about 4.5 to 5 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant. HCL is one of the top companies recruiting computer Science students. 50 to 60 % students secure internships in companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Roles offered are Software Engineer, System Analyst, Web Developer, Data Analyst, and Associate Consultant.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well ventilated and equipped for lectures. We have modern laboratories for engineering. The Wi-Fi facility is too good. We have a central library on our campus with digital resources. There are 4 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls, typically two students per room with furnished beds, study tables, chairs, and cupboards. We have common rooms, TV rooms, and small libraries in our hostel. If we look for the mess section, then they provide us with four meals per day.
Faculty: The CSE Department was established in 1997 and has well-qualified faculty with postgraduate and doctoral degrees. This course is curriculum-relevant. Exams are considered moderate, focusing on theoretical knowledge with some practical components.

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is not good in terms of placements. Faculty members are not bad.
Placements: In our college, the percentage of B.Tech students who got placed on campus is around 70%. The highest package offered for computer science and engineering students is 18 LPA. Only 50-60% of students opt for internships from the CSE branch in companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available. There are labs for computer programming. Central Nalanda library is available in the college. Canteens are available on campus. Games are played here.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but not all. Teaching quality is better as old professors are there. In semester exams, the difficulty level is not much.
Other: NCC, NSS, sports, and yoga are available as extracurricular activities.

Experienced GGU student .
Placements: 1) placement of this college is very poor, for placement you have put efforts on your own. 2) companies like mass recuritor TCS, Infosis, etc. Come in the campus. 3) the highest package is of around 17.8 Lacs and the lowest of 3.6 Lacs per annum. 4) Internship is based on your skills, this year Hacketon is organised in our college.
Infrastructure: The speed of Wi-Fi in the campus is very slow, central library is well-equipped with books, Wi-Fi, computers etc. Classroom is of good size but does not contains AC. Hostel food quality is good not too much average according to mess food. Sports is included in our syllabus.
Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified, and very good in nature every classes run properly with schedule. Course is similar to holder to syllabus means no extra activities only lectures and practices of some subjects like Physics Chemistry BEE, etc. Exams are categorise in three phase; class test 1 and 2 each of 15 marks and end semester of 60 marks.
Other: Teach fest of our college is Equillibrio. Clubs like tarnag, udaan, Gfg, GDGC, and natraj kala manch.

Decent Academics but Outdated Infrastructure and Poor Placements.
Placements: Campus placements are not that good only mass recruitment companies visit campus. Top recruitment companies here are HCL, TCS, Gemini Solutions (On campus the highest package is around 24 LPA). ( Off Campus the highest package is 80 LPA afaik). Overall I would say that On campus placements are not good and if you really want to get into a good company then you should grind on your own .
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi : The campus Wi-Fi is available but extremely slow, making it unreliable for research, coding, or downloading study materials Labs : The labs are functional but quite old. While they have the necessary equipment for practical, the systems are not the latest. Classroom : The classrooms are old and lack modern infrastructure. They serve their purpose but don't have advanced facilities. Hostel : Hostel infra is good but has very limited seats and they have reservation in that too makes it almost impossible to get a seat if you are a general category student.
Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable and helpful too but the thing is that syllabus is really very old so it doesn't make a student industry ready to get a good job, students will have to study on their own. Semester Exams are not that hard you can just study a week before the End Seems and still you will be able to score good marks just focus on Previous Year questions coz the questions are often gets repeated in the Exams The Pass percentage is 40% in each course/subject .

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: Nearly 90% of students get placed in computer science and Information Technology, with the highest placement being 50 LPA and the lowest around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys. Many students also get internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for students. Labs are also in good condition, and the latest tech PCs are available in labs. Classrooms are integrated with smart boards and cameras. There is a central library here, and each department has its own library.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and well-experienced. They are highly qualified, with many of them being IITians and NITians. The teaching quality is good, and the course is relevant. It prepares students well for the industry. Semester exams are moderate.

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh B.Tech review.
Placements: Placements at the college is not very strong, and most students focus on off-campus opportunities or prepare for GATE/GRE for higher studies. The average package stands at 8 LPA, while the highest package has reached 50 LPA off-campus and 18 LPA on-campus. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, American Express, and various startups visit for recruitment. Internships are available, both paid and unpaid, but the stipend is usually low, and opportunities are mainly provided by small companies.
Infrastructure: When it comes to academic facilities, almost all types of amenities are available, including a sports area, library, gym, Nescafe, cafeteria, book and stationery center, labs, and semi-smart classrooms. Regarding hostels, the seats are currently limited, so only a few students get accommodation, while others live in PGs outside the college. However, PGs are affordable and easily available near the college. The quality of hostel rooms and the mess is quite satisfactory.
Faculty: Most of teachers are good and hold M.Tech degrees from IITs. Some of them also have patents and notable research work. The course curriculum follows the NEP 2020 framework, similar to that of IITs and NITs. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty. If you attend lectures, complete assignments, and revise previous year questions, you will perform well in exams.
Other: My branch is Computer Science and Engineering, and everyone knows its high value in terms of salary, future prospects, and research opportunities. A few technical and cultural fests are organized every year. Apart from that, various clubs cater to different areas of interest.

Campus and sports activities are good. Some faculty members even HOD are not good.
Placements: Placements are not given by college with proper data but majorly good placements are offered off-campus. The highest was 48 LPA which was off-campus. TCS and Infosys came last year. There is no role of HOD and another one which can be helpful for placement. Coding culture is not so good.
Infrastructure: Labs are new but equipment is old and none of them is working properly. Wi-Fi speed is moderate but Wi-Fi restricts the website and even students can't see YouTube comments. Classrooms are good, clean, and adjustable. Library has facilities but not in maintenance. Hostel is good in everything, sometimes mess food is not so good.
Faculty: Most faculty members aren't able to describe the topics properly and can't be able to explain concepts with clarity. Course curriculum is not relevant. Even good students are getting weak in their skills. Question papers in exams are good but some faculty members cannot give the proper and honest marking. I am not giving a negative response, I am telling the truth.

An honest review of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: The details about placement, the highest placement, and the average salary package offered are not shared officially. However, the sources I know say 12 LPA was the highest salary package offered. The information about internships and roles in internships is not shared anywhere.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, the department of engineering does not have a very good infrastructure as it is a government college. The internet connectivity in the college is really poor. The labs are well organised and set up and have the latest equipment and software. Classrooms are well-equipped with green boards, whiteboards, and a smart board. The seats of the classes are well added. The hostel changes yearly till 3rd year and out of them, 1st-year hostels have the best facilities and rooms. The food is not up to the mark in the mess but it's good. The sports facilities are really good with two basketball courts, three badminton courts, two volleyball courts, and kabaddi as well as a football and a cricket ground. Medical facilities are good as the college has a medical department where the checkup and dedication are free.
Faculty: Not all teachers are well knowledgeable but most of them are. The teaching quality is good for most of the teachers. The course curriculum is relevant too as it is according to the new education policy which, focuses on overall development of students rather than just making them ace in curriculum. The semester exams are not at all difficult and have a moderate level. The pass percentage is 33% to pass for a particular subject.
Other: I opted for this program because it represents a firm fusion with my passion and professional dream. The curriculum perfectly balances theoretical knowledge with practical applications, which helps me gain in-depth knowledge regarding [the specific subject/field]. Moreover, the course allows me access to experienced faculty members, state-of-the-art resources, and opportunities to work on real-world projects essential foundations for. One of the best things that this course does is stress innovation and collaboration. It encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills in an understanding related to dynamic needs in industries. The course has excellent industry connections, providing internships and placement opportunities with top companies, and ensuring an easy transition from academics into a professional career.
