Review of Government Engineering College.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements. Salary packages are not offered.
Infrastructure: The hostel mess is not good. Wi-Fi is not available in our college and hospital for students but it is available for faculty members. Classes are conducted as a timetable. The canteen, medical facility, sports, and games are not available in our college. It was established in 2018.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college are helpful but more is not good. Internal examinations are very hard. The pass percentage is 70-80%. Semester exams conducted are not good.
Other: It gives good college life.

College life at GEC, JAMUI - GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE (JAMUI) BIHAR.
Placements: The placement cell really works hard and makes sure that we get the best training for placements.
Top recruiters are Deloitte, IBM, DELL, SAP, Zs, Associates, adobe microsoft, amazon, TCS, WIPRO, TATA, L&T, etc.
Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Samsung, bosch, Indian army, Wipro, TVS motor, Voltas and many more. Paid internships are not offered much.
In GEC JAMUI, all the students can easily get placement but it is very hard for an ECE student to get a job.
Infrastructure: A gym and all types of sports facilities including a basketball court, tennis court and cricket and football stadiums are available on the campus.
The college has great labs, an awesome library which opens 24*7, fully AC classroom with smart class facilities and everything that we can possibly think of.
The hostel is good and they provide both AC and non-AC rooms for the students.
The food at the hostel mess is of good quality and it is provided on time.
Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: 0The teachers are good with excellent knowledge about their subjects and they try to help us in every way that they can. Our principal is very strict. The course curriculum is also good and it makes students ready for the placement. The faculty members are very good and most of them are highly qualified from IITs and NITs and other institutes. The semester exams are conducted on time and under CCTV cameras.
Other: The college organises many events like Fest, freshers party, and many cultural events. I wish the college improves lab work to provide excellent education. Campus infrastructure is too good. Campus life is worth expressing. Societies are there for extra curricular activities. The college is affiliated to Aryabhatt knowledge university, PATNA BIHAR.

It is the best college in Jamui.
Placements: None of the students got placed until now because placements will be conducted in 2018 only. However, we came to know from our faculty members and staff members that there should be lots of opportunities in future. The principal is also addressed that various companies will visit here for placements. So be ready for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and we will give 10 out of 10 ratings for it. Classrooms are very spacious and comfortable. Wi-Fi facility and lab facilities are provided here.
Faculty: Faculty members here are well good, highly qualified and very understandable. They are helpful, and they all have a master degree, and even some of them have many higher degrees also. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready and also well qualified in the future so that they can do their best in their life.
Other: I chose civil engineering because, in Bihar, there is lots of scope for the civil branch.

Placements: There are no placements. Four companies visited this college, but they did not select any students. I would not recommend you to take admission to this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not good. There are two boys' hostels, i.e., CV Bhawan and Aryabhatta Bhawan.

I am totally satisfied with its faculty members and good placements.
Placements: About 30 students are placed in our branch. The highest salary package is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. TCS and Tata are the top recruiters. Around 20 students get internships. We are all extremely grateful for this opportunity to study at this college. Placements in our college are excellent.
Infrastructure: There are all facilities, like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The infrastructure is very good. The land is not sufficient because an engineering college should be spacious. Our campus is spread over 6 acres of land.
Faculty: All teachers are good, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Our curriculum is very relevant. Examinations are tough. Teachers are recruited through BPSC.
Other: For financially weak students, it is a very good college as it charges a minimum fee. The best thing is that it conducts fests. It provides scholarships.
