Overall, it’s a good experience. All seniors are also supportive, as well as faculty.

Placements: Some companies like TISCO, Infosys, and others visit our college. After all, it's good value for money. You can apply for jobs outside the campus through the college, and there are also good opportunities for those who want to start a business. Our faculty often talk about Startup Bihar.

Infrastructure: Everything is still good except for the quality of water due to too much iron in it. Wi-Fi facility is available on campus, the library is available, and the chemistry lab is well-equipped. All classrooms have CCTV cameras, also the campus. The food quality is good, and if it's not, we can request a change in the mess.

Faculty: All teachers are good experienced and well-qualified. They have effective techniques to help students with their studies. I am still happy to have chosen this college over other government colleges in Bihar. All students score better in both the midterm and final exams.

Other: Scholarships are available here, loans are available here, the campus environment is good, and festivals are celebrated here every year.

Supaul College of Engineering, Supaul

Placements: Many companies come to this college and take skill tests, writing tests, and interviews, and finally, select students. For placement, students must be in their final year, i.e. 4th year. The maximum package is 9 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Civil engineering placement is the minimum.

Infrastructure: This college has good infrastructure. It has a special building for academic work and classrooms. It has one library with canteen facilities. It has two hostels for boys with a 400-intake capacity and one girls’ hostel for a 300-intake capacity. It has one open-air theater and faculty rooms.

Faculty: I chose this course to make the world more beautiful. All the teachers or faculty are BPSC exam-qualified and student-friendly. This course is a semester basis and has a one-year course. The academic fee is very low because the Bihar government provides scholarships (PMS Scholarship) every year.

Other: This college life is very good. All students, girls or boys, seniors, and juniors are treated as friends. It has a special library where students can go and study. This college should provide different publication books for each subject so that students do not face any difficulty in studying. The campus is fully Wi-Fi covered. This college has different clubs such as the NSS club, sports club, culture club, technical club, etc. Hostel life is also good. It provides separate beds, a table, an almirah, a chair, and electricity should be 24 hours. The hostel also has Wi-Fi covered so that students can study easily.

I think the only problem here is bad guest faculty.

Placements: I joined this college in 2020. I have seen that at least 30-40% of ECE (electronics and communication) students got placed in this college. In civil engineering, I think 5-10% of students got placed. Civil students don't get placed from college.

Infrastructure: There are no permanent faculty, but the college will arrange permanent faculty soon because this college is now developing well. Wi-Fi and labs are not available. The hostel facilities and food quality are average.

Faculty: The college teachers do not teach us well. Teachers do not clear concepts for you. You will need to study on your own and clear every concept. The guest faculty do not teach well.

Other: I chose this course to become a successful civil engineer to create stylish and beautiful structures like bridges as in other countries like Japan, England etc.

Our college has a good environment, hostel, and events.

Placements: Placements are average in our college. But details are not present. You get a chance for placements through university pool placement and nowadays some companies are also visiting the campus as the college is getting older, the placement ratio must get better. I would suggest you select this college if you are not selected in NITs. There is less chance of placement, but if you want placements, then you have to work hard. Some students got placed with high salary packages the previous year. The highest salary package was 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. The average salary offered was 2 LPA. Some of the top companies that ever visited are Wipro and Bharat petroleum. Almost 50% of the students got internships through college in companies like Softproy. Some of the recruiters include Amazon, Apple, BCG, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, etc. On the other hand, the top Indian companies are Wipro, ICICI Bank, etc. Students of our college did well in placements as well as internships this time. According to the information received from the institute, in the last two years, the number of students getting offers for internships has doubled. The college has 5 engineering branches in our college. There are 60 seats in each branch of civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrical communication engineering, and computer science engineering.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is much good as compared to another bihar engineering college. We have new building, library, smart class, and computer labs. Group discussion room which is called an open-air theater is also available. College functional groups are arranged in February. Cricket ground, and badminton ground are much good. Our college provides a good library and labs. Classrooms are well-maintained to focus on the study. The hostel and the food provided by the college are good. The hostel is well-cleaned, and it provides a good environment. The ground is available for small games like kabaddi, badminton, etc. Park is also available here. There is good security. The medical facilities available in the college are good. You will get everything like Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, and labs, but you will often go to the labs. In the hostel, you will get everything like a bed, chair, water facility, and electricity except for the mess facility. But tender has been issued for the mess, and we will get it shortly.

Faculty: Teachers here are knowledgeable and hardworking. They also help in extra classes for you. The course is a little bit difficult, but the teachers are good. Teachers in our college are qualified enough to provide you with knowledge, but some are not good. Overall, you have to work hard on your own. Semester exams are enough to check your quality. Semester exams are not tough, but good-level questions are given by teachers. The pass percentage is the same as other state colleges. In our college, the mid-term exams are conducted by the college and the external exam is conducted by the AKU.

Other: I choose B.tech in civil engineering because of the several opportunities available to the students. It is one of the most trendy courses of today's times and the most demanded ones. B tech helps you to inculcate your technology and financial acumen. A major chunk of students opts for this course just because of the numerous opportunities available to them. They build a personal connection with students and motivate them. Helping students is their main focus. They create a sense of community and make discussions meaningful, increase student engagement and address equity issues. They also identify and support struggling students. The environment is good in our college and hostel. Campus surroundings are village type but good. Events, fest, and extracurricular activities are good here. The campus crowd and connectivity are also good. Moreover, scholarships offered are also good.

Review of Supaul College of Engineering, Supaul.

Placements: Mostly 50% of students got placed in this college in their respective branches. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest package is 1.2 LPA, and the average package is around 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting company is Shree Cements. Almost all the students got internships in their respective branches according to their interests in civil engineering.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available here. Wi-Fi facilities are available in this college. A computer lab is present in this college. ESS is not present, but it started recently.

Faculty: In our college, 2 annual fests are held, one is a welcome party for the new students, and another one is a farewell party for seniors. The availability of books is good in the college, as all the study materials are available. A big playground is available in the college which is sufficient for playing many games like cricket, football, badminton and many more.

Other: The fee is not high as other colleges. Our college fee is 36,400 for 4 years because it is a government college. The scholarship we get is PMS for OBC and SC/ST candidates. Our college is very new, so there are no placements from our college yet, but some extraordinary students get places directly from the college.

Review of Supaul College of Engineering.

Placements: In this college, not big number of students get placements, only 25 to 30% of students get placements. The highest salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA to 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our college are Mahindra, Indian Oil, and many big companies.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure in our college are excellent. It has 24X7 electricity and water is available. Wi-Fi is also available in our college but not at all the corners of the college. The library is also available and it is sufficient to do self-study to our course-related.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in terms of students and financial also. This course curriculum is relevant to getting jobs in many companies. The semester exam is not difficult for some students, but it is difficult for some students.

Other: I opted for this course, because I love to do study about how buildings and bridges are built. Events and fests in our college is a welcome party celebrated for junior students and a farewell party for senior students are held. Around 5 to 6 students get scholarships who apply for it.

One of the best college in low prices.

Placements: Students from semester 7 and semester 8 are eligible for placement. Placement ratio of this institution is very poor but in this year some student get placed, you all get a chance to participate in pool placement which is organized by university from there many student get placement. Here some student also not participate in placement they prepare for GATE or ese and get higher education.

Infrastructure: Here we get 2 boys and 1 girl hostel. In each hostel, the capacity is 300. Topper gets special attention in the hostel. In a room we get 2 beds,4 bulbs,2 chairs ,3 fans Good environment of study and friend. Canteen are not available. But near by college hotel are available.

Faculty: The faculty here is a very vast and a big group of people as per the departments. You can interact with your mentors and faculty anytime you want which is a plus factor as you can take your doubts to them at any hour of the day. Faculty are too much good. All professor has master degree.

Other: In our college, if you fill the form for scholarships then every year of college you get the scholarship. And in my college loan facility is also available for students. In this loan facility, we have to apply to the state government. Diwali, New year, and many more like earth day. And yes there is a final event at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium by J. D called TFA (the fashion awards) where we get an opportunity to showcase our creativity and designing skills.

Our college provides a B. Tech degree at low fee charges.

Placements: As the college was recently established, the placements of students in this college are very few. Approximately 10% of the students are placed from the branch of electrical engineering, electrical and communication engineering, and mechanical engineering. Companies like Wipro and Bharat Petroleum visited here in the previous year. Companies like Intersala provide internships here.

Infrastructure: It doesn't have a huge infrastructure. We have one academic building and two boys' hostels. There is also a girls' hostel. There is also a room for staff professors, and one for the principal. The classrooms are also big and good. But there is no Wi-Fi, and even the labs are not well established. We have a good library. Hostel provides a bed, table, chair, fan and bulb, Neither canteen nor medical facilities are present. There is no space for sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers here are not well-experienced, yet they are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not relevant and it does not make students industry-ready. They just give B.Tech degree. Due to a less number of professors, the semester syllabus is not completed. Exams papers are very tough.

Other: I opted for this course because it gives a B.Tech degree at low fee charges. They need improvement in labs. No fest and events are organised here. Scholarships are provided by the government.
