Review of Government Medical College, Kanker.

Infrastructure: New campus is now under construction. It will be ready soon. It is very spacious and includes separate hostels for boys and girls along with a mess hall. It has an indoor gym, a shopping mart, and a quiet environment. It is suitable for learning. Classrooms have Wi-Fi connectivity, and the new academic building is ready.

Faculty: There are faculty members for every subject, including both clinical and non-clinical departments. Faculty members are supportive and encourage effective learning.

Other: It is a good place for quality learning, situated between mountains and forests. The college has excellent faculty members for every subject. The course includes one year of compulsory internship at the Government Hospital, Kanker, which has a good patient flow and a wide variety of clinical cases.

Review of Government Medical College, Kanker.

Placements: After completing the course, you can opt for going to your post graduation or can be singh as a medical officer. You may be given some choices of places where you want to join as medical officers. You will be assigned in PHC centers along with your team of nurses and compounders.

Infrastructure: Hostels on campus are considerably well-equipped regularly cleaned by ward boys. The food served is good. You can either sit in mess or take it to your room. We have a well-equipped mess both on campus and in your hostel.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are like government sector teachers. But this is the case with most government institutions. They need their salary and for that, they have to work. You get some curious and dedicated teachers rarely in almost every government college.

Other: We are the first batch right now so we are responsible for conducting most of the events. Many activities have been conducted so far from arts to sports and batch trips.

The location of the college is really bad as the city is almost 8 km away.

Placements: As the college is established on 2021 there are on interns and placement yet. And looking at the city and nearby villages the placements of the service bond will be in rural places (2 years) for most of the interns which will pass out in the near future.

Infrastructure: There are no gov hostel available for new batches. You have to live in your own. In the near by PG and the food (mess) services are also by your own payment on the monthly basis the college won't help in any of these. The network in the college campus is also very bad only airtel and jio works.

Faculty: Faculty as its an government college its pretty good and the exams course with is related to the Chhattisgarh university which follow all the rules. And It this college exams are just like any other government college exam in this state Chhattisgarh is.

Other: Events and fest are great as the campus is not very big but still it's pretty good and also not so many types of event occur only once or twice a year.

National Exit Test (NExT) is a combined single-window exam for MBBS students to qualify for admission into postgraduate courses as well as to obtain the license to practice medicine in India.
