Dissatisfied because of the faculty and studies.
Placements: Only 20 to 40% of students get their placement offers in this college. The highest package was 2.8 lac per annum, and the lowest package was 1.9 lac per annum. Top recruiting companies were L and T, SUBROS, and the Krishna Maruti company, so they can get the labor.
Infrastructure: The college has all the facilities available and provided by the government, but the hostel was like a horror forest. There is nothing good in the hostel; cleaning never happens there, there is a problem with water supply, and there is neither a hygienic nor a better place to study.
Faculty: There is nothing special in studies because of the lack of better teachers, and the exams are conducted with the neighboring college, Dumka Engineering College, so that they can fail as much as possible. The pass percentage of students is only 60%.
Other: I chose this course because I have heard that there is good placement in the industrial and commercial sector.

Best College for Diploma Engineering for a best Future.
Placements: This is the Government Polytechnic College. To be admitted, you must have the highest rank under 1500 CML. The placement is good. I am also a mechanical engineering student who has received a placement. They come from all over India to select the best students.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are very good. The boys' and girls' hostels are separate on the college campus. The rules are very nice. Every student has to obey the hostel rules. The food facilities are very good.
Faculty: Our college has a very good faculty in every subject. They cover every topic from every semester's syllabus. When the worksheet is completed, then a test is conducted to boast the number on the final exam. It gives a green environment to score the best mark in the final exam. The minimum pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I was a student from the year 2016 to 2019. After that, I was selected by Zindal Company for a 1-year trainee engineer post.
