The college is full of vibes.
Placements: Dedicated staff and authorities to provide placements, and almost all the tech giants in Kerala will offer placements in this college. Almost students got placed from this college in good companies with decent salary packages. Complete guides given by the college.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is excellent as the government provides a lot of money for the maintenance and all those are strictly maintained by them. Labs and workshops are good standard ones. The hostel rate is cheap, but the condition is pretty good for all the students.
Faculty: The faculty members are good but need more. The course curriculum is relevant with up-to-date syllabus upgrades by the board. All exams are strictly followed by the staff and completed in time. But overall, they have to be need improvements. Some departments do not correctly follow the syllabus mainly in these pandemic times.
Other: Overall, the campus with a vast area of 36 acres full of vibes. The college is positioned as king as compared with other colleges.

I am satisfied with the college because of its good environment on every side.
Placements: About 50% of the students got placed after the completion of the course. The highest starting salary offered by varies companies is Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiting company of our course is Wipro. Our course offered the student to achieve very well programming skill in varies programming language. Our course offered good packages for students to study programming languages. In some subjects like Android, it provides the lowest salary package. About 40% of the students from our course got an internship in varies companies.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are smart classrooms, and it avoid the bookish form of education. Our department consists of 2 computer labs with hundreds of computers. Our college provides high-speed Wi-Fi facility. The college provides hostel facility. Our canteen serves good food at low cost. In our college, there are some medical facilities. Our college organised the best sports events. Our college has a cricket team, football team, volleyball team, basketball team, tennis team, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-equipped to make students study. They take things to make our classes very attractive. They take care of us like their children. They give knowledge more than the book. They train us to become a mature person. The course curriculum is relevant, and it provides us with different types of programming knowledge for achieving skills.
Other: I have chosen this course because our course gives freedom to study programming language easily.

It is a good college to take admission, and students' lives will be settled.
Placements: 90% of students get placements in top IT companies. I studied in a government college. I did not pay any money for our college and I got a complete free education. When I graduated, the college placed me in my district's top company, which is Wipro. 50% of students got placed abroad.
Infrastructure: My department has computer labs, wonderful classrooms, a library, teachers, staff members, etc. My home is near the college, and only on exam days, I used to stay in the hostel. The hostel has a beautiful atmosphere. It has a study table and a playground. The warden is so sweet.
Faculty: My teachers are extremely superb. They are so helpful, and students love their teachers. The college provides quality teachers for students. I suggest students take computer courses as they have many job opportunities. Students should score 25% to pass exams.
Other: I chose this course because it has so many chances to get a job. It provides so many opportunities and placements. It is government-approved.

Great place to have fun and learn.
Placements: Placement opportunities are there. But only around 20-30% of students from our course got placed through campus drives. The highest package offered is around 3.5 LPA, while the average salary is somewhere close to 2.4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and a few local IT startups have come for recruitment. Around 30-40% of students managed to get internships, mostly through smaller firms, training centers, or tie-ups with companies like Tata and Inmake. The roles offered are mostly entry-level, like junior software developer, teach support, or web development intern.
Infrastructure: At Kalamassery Polytechnic, the computer engineering department has the necessary facilities like computer labs, projectors, and student Wi-Fi but there are quite a few issues. Maintenance is a major concern many systems in the lab have broken displays or just don't work properly. The student Wi-Fi is also really slow most of the time, mainly because of overcrowding. I am a day scholar, so I don't stay in the hostel. But from what I have heard, the hostel is not well-maintained, and things are often disorganized. On the positive side, the canteen is pretty good. The food is hygienic, tasty, and affordable.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and pretty good when it comes to theory subjects. But honesty, when it comes to programming and coding, they are not that strong. If you really want to get good at coding, taking some extra classes or learning from outside will make a big difference. The syllabus is fairly relevant and gives you a basic idea of the field. But it does not fully prepare you for what the industry expects today. The semester exams are not too hard if you keep up with your studies, and most students manage to pass without much trouble.
Other: I chose this course because I have always been interested in computers and technology. The best part about it is the college vibe and the number of events that happen throughout the year. However, I wish the maintenance were better, and teachers had more knowledge of programming to teach it effectively. The campus is well-connected, and overall, it's a fun place to be.

Candidates are also eligible who have passed 10th grade examination with Mathematics-Standard from CBSE school.
For CBSE/ICSE/Open school candidates, the Marks/Grades obtained in Science is considered for calculating grade in the place of Physics and Chemistry.
