Candidate should be a citizen of India. Candidate must have passed SSLC-Secondary School Leaving Certificate/THSLC-Technical Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate (10th standard) or equivalent examination with Mathematics, English and Science subjects. Candidate are also eligible who have passed SSLC-Secondary School Leaving Certificate/THSLC-Technical Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate (10th standard) or equivalent examination with only Mathematics and English subject. Candidates are also eligible who have passed 10th grade examination with Mathematics-Standard from CBSE school. For CBSE/ICSE/Open school candidates, the Marks/Grades obtained in Science is considered for calculating grade in the place of Physics and Chemistry. Candidate who has used more than two attempts to secure eligibility for higher studies in SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examinations is not eligible for admission. (Attempts made through “Betterment” or “SAY” (Save a Year) examinations are not counted in the attempt limit.) Note: Hearing Impaired candidates with 60dB or above hearing loss in better ear who have passed SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examination, with eligibility for higher studies are eligible to apply for admission to Special Batches for Hearing Impaired.
