The NEET UG 2026 registration has started for admission to MBBS, BDS and other courses. The last date to register is Mar 8, 2026. Also, the NEET UG exam 2026 is going to be held on May 3, 2026.
NEET PG 2025 counselling result for the stray round has been announced. Reporting for stray round can be done till Feb 28, 2026.

It is a good place to get wide clinical knowledge and academics with no ragging.

Placements: Lots of students after completing MBBS in GVMC, joined postgraduate courses in many other colleges, and some joined the same GVMC. It depended upon each one's preparation for NEET PG, but more than 80 percent of our college got postgraduate admissions, some in multispecialty fields.

Infrastructure: There was a single building for boys with 3 floors, and each floor had around 20 rooms. There were workers who cleaned floors and bathrooms every day. The hostel mess was maintained by the student council. The food taste in boys hostel was so good, and postgraduate teachers and working members also dined there. The same fits to girls hostel, but the hostel mess food was the same. There were 4 classrooms, 3 of which could accommodate 150 students, and the last one could up to 250 students.

Faculty: It was a government medical college with highly efficient doctors who were teaching professors for the MBBS undergraduates. Every year, the pass percentage in each batch varied from 90% to 98%. My batch, the 2018 batch, was completed with a 100% pass percentage. Clinically, we had lots of patients, so it was very helpful to gain knowledge from them and get wide clinical knowledge exposure.

Other: GVMC started in 2014 and has 21 batches till now, known for Obstetrics and Gynaecology and its Multidrug-Resistant TB award. Every year, the student council conducts Synapse, an intercollege fest among medical colleges. Also, Hostel Day, Pongal celebration, awareness programs, etc., were conducted. Nearby, there were no good places for food. It was 7 km away from the city, so for many needs, we had to travel a long distance, like to the theatre, main bus stand, good cake shops, clothing, etc. There was not much place to explore around the city.

It is a great learning experience with good faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: We are 101 students and presently doing our Final year. We get one of the extraordinary training by best faculty members, and after completion of this final year, we have to do an internship for one year with payment. After that, we can practice medicine on our own.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are provided for both boys and girls separately. There are adequate spacing and privacy in the hostel with good space for studies and also games. Food is also good, and the hostel fees charged is also feasible and also provides good care.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are one of the best. We gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical knowledge that is of great use to us in our future. They will also help to treat the patients in a better way. Faculty members are helpful and also very friendly.

Other: I have chosen this course as it is my ambition from my young age to become a doctor and to provide good and quality health care service to the people in need and take care of society. There is a college cultural and also hostel day. Apart from that, a lot of CME is also conducted, and those are very useful.

Can I get a seat for MBBS at Government Vellore Medical College with 360 marks in NEET 2025?

I think it's quite harder to get the seat in the Government Vellore medical College with 360 .

Last year the cutoff marks for BC-PH is 305,OBC-682,ST-602,GN-685,SC-617,EWS-675

The ranks for 2024 cutoff was 1478 is for BC category .But based on your marks you can expect rank in between 1,45,000-1,70,00
